Dear Mr. DelFerraro, I'm very sorry to hear you had such a negative experience with our service department. That is not what we expect from our team and dealership as a whole. We have been a family owned and operated dealership fro over 45 years and take great pride in providing our customers the best service possible. It is what we preach and is a part of our culture. Having said that, I'm thankful that you have brought this to our attention. I see this as a teachable moment for our staff. I don't want to make any excuses however, our staff need to know upon arrival if the vehicle was purchased from Toyota of Stamford. That is how we determine if they are in our computer system and qualify for certain specials such as, free loaner car, VIP program and many other benefits that our sales customers automatically receive when purchasing from Toyota of Stamford. As for not having the part, it is very rare to have a part like that in stock for such a new vehicle. We try our best to get our waiting customers in and out in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, some days may take a little longer than others. We try our very best. As for the laziness and unpleasant attitude from our staff, there is no excuse for that and again, I can't apologize enough. We will definitely use this as a teachable moment for our service department and dealership as a whole. We would be very disappointed to lose you as a customer and would hope that you will consider giving us another chance.
