I was so pleased with the service department who took care of checking my car and tires for any damage. They realigned front and back since it had minor problems. Questioning the competence of this team. I looked at two vehicles, and requested a test drive on one. The following morning I received a call from the dealership to schedule and I informed h I looked at two vehicles, and requested a test drive on one. The following morning I received a call from the dealership to schedule and I informed him at that time, that the vehicle i originally requested to test drive was no longer the vehicle I was interested in, and gave the information for the vehicle I wanted to proceed with for my appointment. Within an hour I received another call, from another employee, and I repeated what I had already said to the first employee. I later received yet another call, from a third employee, and again, informed him that I would be test driving a different vehicle from my original request, he gave me a cell number to text and told me to let him know when I would be arriving. I sent a text more than an hour before my arrival and again specified the vehicle I wanted to test drive, as well as provided him with the last 8 of the VIN. Upon arrival, I'm given the keys to the originally requested vehicle. I informed him that these were not the correct keys, and reminded him that I sent a text with the correct VIN. Finally we get the correct vehicle and take it for test drive, and I was happy with it. The salesman immediately starts trying to work up a credit application, I had already informed him that I had a preapproval from more than one lender, and was only willing to finance with them if they could beat the interest rate. At this time I asked him to slow down, that I would not fill out a credit application, when we hadn't even discussed the price. He responded with "well you saw the price on the site already." to which I responded yes, I did, I also notice that the price is $1494 higher today than it was at 11pm last night, I'm not going to pay a premium just because it's Saturday. Long story short-ish, i had to repeat that several times before he went to speak to a sales manager. He finally returns, beaming like he just won this sale and hands me the OTD i requested, with a price more than $4000 below the price I was requesting...now i'm suspicious because this is beyond generous. after looking over the sales order, I figured out why, The sales order was for the wrong vehicle! Even after test driving the vehicle I wanted, he still had the paperwork for the vehicle I explicitly told him I didn't want! after I pointed this out, he was incredibly confused, then returned to the sales manager for the paperwork on the correct vehicle, showing the inflated price. I told him, for at least the 5th time that I would not pay $1500 more today than the same vehicle was listed for less than 24 hours ago. He returns to the sales manager for the 3rd time now and comes back to say he cannot budge on the price. At this point, I'm frustrated with his incompetence, and baffled by the refusal to accept the price that was listed only a few hours ago, especially since at this point it was an hour before the dealership would close. This was by far the most ridiculous experience I've ever had at a dealership. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND More
