Went here for my 10,000 service and waited. Check in was simple and easy but then I get a text message saying, “We have a customer interested in buying your car. Would you like to hear more info?” Give me a break. Nobody is interested in buying my car at 7:30 in the morning! First lie of the visit, but not the last. Next I get a text after the vehicle was given its 42 point “inspected” look over. Attached is a video. Too bad the battery check slip was dated from the previous day and an hour before my arrival. Total lie/scam to make me think they are actually doing anything. While sitting in the waiting room, I listened to a service advisor totally rip off a customer for $85 to do a simple cabin air filter change on her Camry. What a joke! The part is probably $10!!! Lastly a basic oil change and tire rotation took nearly 2 hours. I’ll give them it was a Saturday but it was first thing in the morning (8am appointment). In the end the oil change was complimentary and part of the Toyota Care package but once my car hits 20k miles I’m done with this dealership. More
Worst dealership experience ever. Drove an hour to come see an online listing after talking with a representative who wasted a week of my time because he was constantly leaving me on Drove an hour to come see an online listing after talking with a representative who wasted a week of my time because he was constantly leaving me on read and not fulfilling the tasks he promised to do “as soon as we got off the phone.” He never informed me that the wheel bearing was shot and the pictures don’t show the damage, rusting and scratches that completely cover the car inside and out. They were defensive, passive aggressive and unwilling to negotiate the price which was about $5000 higher than the car’s worth. More
Responsive just wasn't really there. I asked a specific question about a model which I later found out isn't even available yet in the US. Got multiple people contacting me about a different model. Couldn't get the information I wanted from them; I think they just wrote me off because I wasn't ready to commit the time to "come down for an appointment" without some basic information. Also when I've looked in the past the inventory seemed to be several thousand higher than other dealerships. More
Don’t ever try to buy a car online with this group. We came down to rock hill to look at used cars. They didn’t have on their lot what we were looking for so we left. We continued to follow up online We came down to rock hill to look at used cars. They didn’t have on their lot what we were looking for so we left. We continued to follow up online and check for new inventory. They Advertised the exact car we were looking for and we were ready to make the deal. Come to find out the car was not on their lot it was is FLORIDA. However at the bottom of the page it state FREE delivery to their dealership, so we were set and ready to make the deal. Once we got to the pricing again the car was now 1200 MORE than it was clearly listed for on their site. When we inquired they said it was shipping. When we argued that point because it says FREE shipping, they then said and I quote “the pricing online isn’t always right”. As you can imagine it infuriated us. This is a CLEAR violation of the FTC act which states The Federal Trade Commission Act allows the FTC to act in the interest of all consumers to prevent deceptive and unfair acts or practices. In interpreting Section 5 of the Act, the Commission has determined that a representation, omission or practice is deceptive if it is likely to: • mislead consumers and • affect consumers' behavior or decisions about the product or service. We would have loved to make this deal, but more importantly this should be addressed as it was clearly done to mislead the consumer. I will be going to WSOC-TV with this. More
Scheduled AC service for 4:30 in the afternoon, when I arrived, first thing out of the service writers mouth was we don't normally do ac work this time of day. She checked with service and they said "we' arrived, first thing out of the service writers mouth was we don't normally do ac work this time of day. She checked with service and they said "we'll take you". 10 mins later, was told we can't fix your truck since it has a leak. They have fixed it for the previous 3 years. Every time I go to this service department, its always a challenge. I don't trust them. Take your vehicle somewhere where they aren't trying to get as much out of your wallet as they can. Its clear they work on commission. More
I was looking for a Camry. I went a couple of times to speak further on it. Farrah is one of the rudest salespersons I’ve ever spoken with. The second time, she was impatient I went a couple of times to speak further on it. Farrah is one of the rudest salespersons I’ve ever spoken with. The second time, she was impatient and was condescending in tone. Very distasteful experience. More
We purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid the end Dec 2021. We were told that it went through your service department and everything checked out. Out of the gate, we had issues with the Hybrid battery system We were told that it went through your service department and everything checked out. Out of the gate, we had issues with the Hybrid battery system, brakes and a whole host of other issues that Toyota of South Charlotte repaired. Tires go bad, even though they were replaced in 2020, and find out that the shocks are completely gone. I understand that we purchased the vehicle "As-is" but I would expect that we would have a functioning car less than 3 months after purchase without spending another $4,000 to feel SAFE driving it. We tried to talk to our salesperson about it, but he never contacted us back, and was told that the service department would not do anything because it was purchased "As-Is". All of this would have been identified if the vehicle was inspected the first time and not pencil-whipped to get it on the floor. You have lost a customer for life. More
