Culture of dishonesty I recently made an inquiry about a 4runner they were advertising on their website via email. I received a response that indeed they had the vehicle in stock. Before going I visited another Toyota dealership in Concord, NC that was much closer and had a similar vehicle. While negotiating the price at the Concord location I mentioned Toyota of Rock Hill had the same vehicle for $4K less. A sales manager checked and told me not to waste my time driving to Rock Hill, they didn't have the vehicle they were advertising in stock. I assumed this was a sales ploy to get my business. The next morning I called to confirm they had the vehicle, I spoke to another sales rep from the email in case the first had made a mistake. I was assured they had the vehicle in stock and on the lot. When I arrived an hour later and waited for 30 minutes while they "found the keys", I was told it was already sold but they had many others to show me. How could another dealership know they didn't have it but 2 different employees had no idea. This is a classic case of bait and switch, do and say anything to get them on the lot. It proves it's not 1 employee making a mistake but a culture of dishonesty. More

I recently got a service coupon (limited for two days only), and called to make an appointment for one of the two days. Was told there are no appointments left, but I can drop the vehicle off. I went to the dealership on the appropriate day to drop the vehicle off, and was told that they are booked and not doin drop offs. The earliest they could get me in just happened to be the day AFTER the coupon expired. The service advisor didn't offer any alternative, and expressed no remorse for me wasting my time due to their error. I'll be looking into independent service facilities from this point forward. More
Poor service !! Very, very poor service... GO ELSEWHERE ! I had an appt for service of my Toyota Takoma and to place stepping rails on my truck. I made it to my app Very, very poor service... GO ELSEWHERE ! I had an appt for service of my Toyota Takoma and to place stepping rails on my truck. I made it to my appointment 10 minutes before my scheduled time at 2:30pm. ( I missed a Christmas party to make this appt time). The service person told me the service would be done that evening, but the step rails would not be in until the next day at 7 am with the truck being ready by mid morning the next day. So, I told them I would leave my car there and pick it up the next morning. I called 2 different times mid morning the next day. Both times I was told the car was in the service area being worked on. Both times, they never told me they had not even looked at my car, even though my appointment time had been the previous day. By noon time, the service person would call me up. Sure enough, the service man called up and told me the truck was not ready ( with the assumption, the service part had been done the afternoon of the appt, as the service person had told me) as they had been running behind ( thinking it was the stepping rails). So, I told them I would pick it up on Sunday, as my day had been waiting on Toyota service. The next day, I went to pick up my truck. Seems like they had not done the service on my car, as they said they had 48 hours previously at my appointment time. They did not even look at my car until they had it for over 25 hours. When I picked it up, they inform me it still needed filter changes and an alightment. So summary: I made an appointment at 2:30 on 12-15-17. I missed a party to get it there ontime. Service told me the service would be done afternoon of 12-15, but the stepping rails ( also scheduled) would not get done until midmorning 12-16. 2 phone calls with me to tell me they were running behind on putting on the stepping rails. No mention of my car needing anything else, until I pick it up 12-17. I work long hours. Had they done the service at the time of my appointment, as they said they would, they would have had the opportunity to talk to me Saturday morning over 2 occasions to get permission to do the other things. Instead, they promised me the car was going to be service when I brought it in, lied to me the next day telling me the car was being serviced at the time of the first 2 phone calls, when in reality, they had not even looked at my car until 25 hours after MY APPOINTMENT Time. Now, I have to make another appointment to change filters and align the car. 48 hours this Toyota dealer had my truck for a simple service and placing a stepping rail on it. They cannot even be honest. Why have an appointment if they do not even look at your car until 48 hours later? Worse customer service. DO NOT GO THERE ! You appointment means nothing. Whatever they tell you means nothing. Pitiful service. No respect for your time. Why make an appointment ???? More

WORST SERVICE DEPT EVER!!! If I could give this dealership no stars I would - I don't know if this company is just asking to be SUED or what. Right from the start this was a horrible experience. I called corporate after being notified of a recall on my Camry for a passenger restraint system. I proceeded to set up my profile with corporate and was transferred over to the dealership to set up my appt. I dropped my Camry off the following Monday. The rep that approached me had no idea who I was or what I was there for. Despite being an obvious administrative error, I gave my information and was on my way. (picked my vehicle up the following afternoon) I had no idea upon picking it up that my passenger seat was not even bolted back at all! I went to drop my child off for school this morning and she basically flew forward while attached to the seat at the first red light we hit. I immediately called into the dealership and the customer service rep told me "Oh yeah, no problem we can get you in next monday" Ummmm NO??? I have pre teens that sit in that seat - so what happens if I get into an accident between now (Thurs) and the following Monday - are you people xxxxxxxx??? A two minute fix could save someone's life and you want to wait 4 days!!! Makes perfect sense - thankfully corporate handled this issue amazingly.... More
Extremely Upset I am extremely upset with this dealership, when I signed the contract I was told the south eastern toyota finance was apart of toyota financial,I went I am extremely upset with this dealership, when I signed the contract I was told the south eastern toyota finance was apart of toyota financial,I went to register my account on toyota financial only to find out that in fact I am not financed thru toyota financial and the south eastern toyota is actually a retail installment company. I am going to contact an attorney to see if there is something that I can do legally. I feel like I was lied to so that they could make money off of me with this retail installment loan, I could would have gone to my credit union if I would have known that this was a retail installment loan. I would not have signed the paper work if I knew this is what I was being sold, I was told it was toyota financial and that was a big lie. I will never purchase a vehicle here again, I feel like this was shady business and I was taken advantage of. More
Disrespectful , poor service Bought a vehicle there last summer , had an issue so I called. Discussed the problem and was told service was open til 6 pm When I got there at 530 they didn't want to look at the vehicle. First guy tried to say that checking the battery would take time and it was too late to come back tomorrow. Another guy tried telling me that the mechanics had already picked up the tools and were gone. When I pointed out that it was well before 6 he started a debate about my workplace and if I showed up at his job at the last minute..... It escalated and the manager got involved. After criticizing me for getting VERY upset with the disrespectful manner I was treated he then forced me to leave without looking at the vehicle that was purchased there and is under warranty. At my place of employment if the sign says we close at 6 , we welcome customers until 6 and often even later. It's called customer service.. and bringing up my job to make a point like that was very unprofessional. More
