Had my ‘24 Toyota Tacoma with 7,800 miles on it towed here. I had aftermarket fog lights installed and unfortunately they were improperly wired. They disconnected the fog lights and said it was fixed. Le here. I had aftermarket fog lights installed and unfortunately they were improperly wired. They disconnected the fog lights and said it was fixed. Less than an hour later, my trucks panel lights came on and the truck started shuddering. Dropped it back off and received a call that it was the catalytic converter. Warranty is being voided because they said that the fog lights affected the catalytic converter and voided the warranty. Have spoken to several service techs from different places and have all agreed that is it almost impossible for the lights to have affected the catalytic converter. They are charging $3k+ to replace the catalytic converter. More

My spouse’s vehicle was stuck at a local business late in the afternoon. I called and spoke with Fox at Toyota of Rock Hill. He said that I could have it towed there and they would take a look at it. The next day, they got the issue resolved and alerted me to another issue that needed attention. They ordered the parts needed and fixed that issue early the following day.
