With the many medical appointments looming, we d My husband has stage 4, lung cancer, and the Toyota Lexus we owned was too high for him to get into. With the many medical appointments looming, we decided to buy a new car. (My husband's sister owns a Camry Hybrid and she was chauffeuring us around to my husband's medical appointments.) Access and egress was easy for my husband who can no longer walk, stand or sit for more than 10 minutes. The Toyota.com website referred my inquiry to Toyota of Riverside. Within minutes of my inquiry Rachel, the internet person, called me. I explained my need to buy a car without the lengthy visits to a dealership, haggling or someone pressuring me to buy a car I may not want. Tony, ToR Salesman, called me and arranged to bring a "sample" Camry hybrid to my home, the same day as my internet inquiry. Tony was courteous, calm and professional. After meeting my husband, Tony realized my inquiry was genuine and he set about finding the color and interior I was interested in. The following day, Tony brought the second car to our home. Though the seats were fabric, and we needed leather (to ease my husband's entry into/out of the car). The Camry LE Hybrid was perfect. So in two visits (sample and final), the transaction was completed. Tony even brought the paperwork to our home to complete the purchase. The next day, we took the car into Service to have the leather seats installed. Tony arranged for a loaner, so we would have transportation, in the event my husband had an emergency episode. Jose and Joseph, Service Writers, Service Dept., handled the intake of the Camry and the loaner return. Both men were courteous and professional. The leather seats have been installed and the new Camry LE Hybrid now sits in our garage, ready for the next marketing or medical appointment. From inquiry to purchase, to service, we are very impressed with the caliber of "over and above service" we received from Toyota of Riverside. Service has been a bit lacking if late. All he wanted was my money not my satisfaction. I hope Toyota will not be fooled by his loyalty and loose a lot of customers. This is serious business. This deal started with me calling the dealership and referred to Khalid and I’m thankful that he was my salesmen. Everything he and I spoke about on the phone was delivered when I arrived at your location. Khalid was very helpful and respectful to me and could tell that I needed help filling out the paperwork and his patience with me was awesome. I’ve only financed one other vehicle before at the age of 22 at the time so I don’t have a lot of experience buying cars. My father was the with me and said things are going fine and that Khalid was a straight forward guy. Thank you Khalid and your name has already been passed to family and friends. More

Impresions of the sales staff I encountered. Rachel and Edward Gonzales were very professional and tried hard to be helpful. Then the closer entered the picture and took over. What can I say? He was the closer and good at his job, but he did nothing to make our experience "pleasant". I particularly found it objectionable the way we were dumped in a room with a bean counter after we finally reached a purchase decision. Ours was a simple straight forward cash purchase, no financing. Yet he insisted on filling out and having me sign all sorts of documents appropriate to a financed purchase. When I asked why he said "just because" that was the way they did it. Most of the forms were irrelevant to our purchase and meaningless so why insist on wasting time going through the drill? And this guy had the personality of a robot. We left with the feeling that we were getting the bums rush after they had our money. Other than that everything was great. In retrospect, I guess they were as good and maybe a little better than all car dealers who are generally deceptive and pushy. I do think they have a good employee in Edward Gonzales. More

Kenny was able to have a timely appointment for me at 11@ and the deal was done within 30 mins. However Kenny had to leave due to family emergency. And I was told my vehicle needed to be transferred from San Bernardino when it actually came from Orange County. I had spent 5 hrs at the dealership waiting for delivery of my car. If dealer was transparent I could have planned that 5 hour to better suite me as the customer than waste my entire day waiting on a vehicle that was supposed to come to me from San Bernardino. Because of Kenny and Rachel I would recommend the dealership. But due to long wait time I may not return. Also the sales manager did try to accommodate by giving me voucher to part store so that help. I forgot his name but he saved me from walking away from the deal. More
