Toyota of Nashua responded

We understand that at times a customer's vehicle concern can be a very frustrating event for the customer. We at the dealer make every advocacy to correct a customer's concern. A $3k part was replaced under factory warranty at no expense to the customer with a free loaner vehicle. As the vehicle still exhibited the customer's concern after replacement, per Toyota's guidelines, we consulted with Toyota for further assistance. Upon further inspection by a Toyota representative, it was determined that the vehicle exhibited no further warranted repairs. Upon the matter of the tires, the vehicle was exhibiting excessive tire wear and although tires are warrenteed through each individual tire manufacturer (not Toyota), we consulted with Toyota, and replaced with Toyota's "good will gesture" the tires with upgraded ones at no cost to the customer as well with a free loaner vehicle at this time rather than direct the customer to be inconvenienced further in traveling to a tire dealer for assistance. We did at no time "blame the customer" for their concerns and we do apologize for your experience here at the dealer. Sincerely, Dana Booth Service Manager

The point is...the vehicle NEVER needed the 3K part. You wasted my time and gave me a filthy loaner. What if it wasn't under warranty??? What then? Would you have admitted it did not need the part? I don't think so. The tires were NOT given as a "good will gesture" since they should NOT have had so much wear on them in the first place. Toyota quality has declined drastically!
