Do not buy from Toyota of Nashua McGovern Auto group Do not buy from Toyota of Nashua / McGovern Auto group 8-5-2020 When I picked up my car on 7/22/20 the salesman said the car was being clean Do not buy from Toyota of Nashua / McGovern Auto group 8-5-2020 When I picked up my car on 7/22/20 the salesman said the car was being cleaned, so I waited. When I went out to the car it was still dirty, the side view mirrors were cloudy, sticker marks on mirrors, flecks of brown on the paint, I showed the salesman, was told that if I wanted a more detailed cleaning I should have purchased a package. I took the car home. July 28th I went out to clean my car and my rear windows would not go down. I had to initialize them. Car not Pre delivery inspected. July 28 I washed my car , while waxing it and discovered dents on the roof above the rear passenger side door which I did not notice until after the car was cleaned. I called the dealer right away and went right to the dealer and the used car person could look at my car. He said that he would have the dent guy try and remove the dents. I called Toyota of Nashua and emailed the salesman. The salesman told me to come in on Wednesday the 8/5 at 9:30 to have the car repaired. I went in to have the car repaired and the dent guy said he could not remove all the dents because of where the dents were located on the roof of the car and that the cage that’s on the inside of the car would interfere with him being able to get under there without compromising the paint. Lie#1 I asked for a repair order receipt and was told OK. The gentleman who tried to repair the dents brought up a receipt for $65 and it said dent removal and handed me a receipt from his own place. I asked for a Toyota repair order receipt so that it was documented. The sales manager was not happy and told me that nothing will be entered into the system until the next day. I explain to him that I was not leaving without a repair order. When I received the first repair order all it stated was that the individual who worked on my car worked on the dents and that was it. Lie#2 I asked the sales manager to please document that the dents were not fixed on the RO, he then got agitated, spoke loudly to me, and said “what for? so you can sue me?”. He wrote on the RO that I said the car was not repaired. I asked him again to have it in the system, printed on the RO and he said that no comments could be put on it. Lie#3 After requesting several times to have documented RO stating the dents were not completely fixed, the sales people finally wrote me a letter that stated I was not happy with the repair. The first letter they gave me said that I was declining to get the car fixed which was not at all accurate. On my way back to Toyota of Nashua to get them to fix the letter I called the Toyota customer experience line. When I went back in to get the corrected letter the same salesman manager was annoyed and treated me curtly. After having him raise his voice to me, repeatedly lying to me over the work order and then about the side body moldings. Lie#4 The sales manager told me they were made by Toyota during the sale of the car, and then I was given aftermarket parts. Toyota doesn’t make the side body moldings for my car. I decided I was going to give him a poor rating on the survey because of the way he spoke to me and the lies. Not at all what I wanted to do. I am acutely aware that this would not be a good thing for him. On my way home from Toyota Nashua/McGovern Auto the sales manager called me, his voice was raised, he stated he wanted to thank me for the poor survey and took the time to point out to me that no one there at Toyota Nashua noticed any dents on the roof of my car but they were honoring it anyway because they were trying to make me happy. I asked him -are you calling me because I gave you a poor survey? He then said no I just wanted to thank you once again for the poor survey results and just to let you know that no one saw those dents and then he hung up on me. I immediately called Toyota customer experience line. This man has my phone number, my address, and he knows what my car looks like, not a great feeling to have when you’re dealing with somebody who is so aggressive and implied that I am a liar. I am now wondering if the salesman knew about the dents and this is why he was so angry. The car had 100 miles on it when I picked it up. No one has called me about my customer experience like the Toyota hotline told me they would. I later found out they wrote Toyota back telling them I was refusing to resolve this. Not true, and yet one more lie. Toyota corp and McGovern Auto group are not backing their product, you are on your own. I shouldn’t have to send a brand new car into the body shop and compromise the paint job on the car. I would not lie and dent my own car and lower it’s value. Lie#5 I had Three malfunction messages go off on my car, they said the car had no codes. I was later told by corporate customer service the car did have codes. Toyota does not stand behind their product. They charge you full price for a damage car. Think twice before getting a car from them. More

When I searched for a used one online, I noticed that Toyota of Nashua had exactly what I was looking for. I went to go see the car, and Jeremy Hicks was the cosultant who worked with me. He was informative and friendly. I never ever felt pressured to do anything, nor did I feel like I was being scammed at any point. Jeremy and the other people with whom I worked were attentive and enthusiastic. I had a positive experience. More
Bad Sales Policy I was up to this dealership several years ago in person and at that time, I spoke to Sales Mgr Nidal. Nidal tried his hardest to find me the right car I was up to this dealership several years ago in person and at that time, I spoke to Sales Mgr Nidal. Nidal tried his hardest to find me the right car, he walked his entire lot with me and we came up empty-handed. Last year, I contacted them again by phone and spoke to Kay Livingston who was their Internet salesperson, that went nowhere as they didn't have anything on their website that I could afford.. This year, 2020, I found 2 pre-owned vehicles on their website that I was interested in. The 1st vehicle was listed as still available and I was sharing emails back and forth with Shannon. To make this story shorter, the SUV I was interested in was already SOLD and their 3rd party contractor hadn't caught up with their sales team yet to delete it. The 2nd vehicle I was curious about, I had to decide to NOT get as the manager on the phone told me they require a $500 deposit! I'm 65 years old now and I've purchased many vehicles from dealers and NEVER had to do that before. I'm taking my business elsewhere :( More

Lousey Service, Expensive Repairs, Non-Toyota Parts My Toyota Camry needed a new starter and I was quoted a price of $575 installed, which is more than $200 more than Shop Book Rate. Turns out they had My Toyota Camry needed a new starter and I was quoted a price of $575 installed, which is more than $200 more than Shop Book Rate. Turns out they had planned to use a starter they were going to buy from Pep Boys and this was revealed only after I questioned them about it. When you go to a dealer, you should expect factory parts and if you're not going to get them, they should be up front about it. I passed on the repair and I won't be going back to Nashua Toyota under any circumstances because I think they're dishonest. More

My husband and I have tried working with other Toyota dealerships in the New England area and had horrible experiences. Toyota of Nashua was great from first contact. Alyson M. was our salesperson and she was able to get us into the exact truck we described. She listened and gave us what WE wanted and did not try to push something we didn't want on us, like the other place! She got our trade appraised, got all the paperwork done and had the truck ready for us to drive away. All this was done and we drove away in our new truck within 4 hours! She is the BEST! Thank you so much Alyson and the entire Toyota Of Nashua staff. You ROCK!!! More
