Professional Car Buyer strikes again Overall this was a good deal, fair price and tolerable experience. Initially, I said I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Why: Af Overall this was a good deal, fair price and tolerable experience. Initially, I said I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Why: After walking around the used car lot for just over 30 minutes, no one ever addressed me, greeted me, or recognized me as a potential customer. This includes the salesman that bumped into me at least twice while assisting another potential customer. Even when he bumped into me he never said excuse me (not a problem) or asked if anyone was helping me. That was the problem. No contact from anyone on the sales team! After identifying 3 vehicles I wanted to test drive, I entered the store and asked (can you believe I had to actually ask for a salesperson) for a salesperson. The first guy I spoke with was already working with a customer but he immediately referred me to another salesman. The next salesmen did finally come outside to look at the car (s) I wanted to test drive then quickly went back inside. I thought he was going to get the keys and coming back, but that wasn't the case. I had to go back inside and just go back first salesman (Mr. Corwin Lawson). Mr. Lawson was able to multi-task and he assisted me in test driving the car (s) I wanted to drive. He took my information and sent me on my test drive. This was acceptable for me because it allowed me to truly test the vehicles I was considering. Mr. Lawson helped make the buying process easy for me. As a business owner my time is very limited. He negotiated the deal on my behalf, delivered the car (about 40 miles) and closed it all in the next day just as we'd discussed. I very happy with my purchase. My only gripes: The dealership was not willing to provide more than one key to the car neither was an owners manual made available with the car. I understand that its a used car, but I also understand that the manufacturer (Toyota) makes them available to the dealerships for years to come. If they would provide me a second key and an owners manual I'm pretty sure I would score this a 5-star deal. More
