Staff is walking in circles trying to comprehend basic math and the sales manager David wants to be a power broker but hardly understands simple transactions. In fact, David will literally talk to you like a child and demand you to follow his command. Way to aggressive. Make friends not enemies. Simple sales training… I earn a healthy salary and credit score hasn’t went below 760 in 5 years. So to waist my time for months on a 1794 I had reserved as a credible buyer and never follow up was insulting of my time to say the least. Literally just had the GM call as I was righting this post… I find it interesting how Toyota of Denton wants to work with you once they figure out you’ll take the time to air out the corruption at this poorly ran establishment.. Not to mention the way these MEN SPEAK OF WOMAN is literally degrading and unethical. Toyota is a great vehicle but when it comes to a respectfully, honest transaction. Extremely dissatisfied with their sales staff. They wasted my time and gas. Drove two hours! They were dishonest about market adjustment fees. They said they are not but definitely are marking up the wasted my time and gas. Drove two hours! They were dishonest about market adjustment fees. Overall the service is just average. My biggest complaint is that when you arrive at the dealership no one comes to greet you. Even when you have an appointment. I'm always made to wait even tho complaint is that when you arrive at the dealership no one comes to greet you. Even when you have an appointment. I'm always made to wait even though the employee is 5 feet in front of me. He/she does not even acknowledge you. Then even as a returning customer I'm made to feel that I've never been there before. I have to provide my vehicle details again like it was never captured in the system. Very frustrating and annoying. However, once the vehicle service is done it is okay. Thus, I give it a 3 for just average. I'd prefer to go to Toyota of Prosper and only use Toyota of Denton when I absolutely need to. Service is much better at Toyota Prosper. Someone actually greets you as soon as you arrive at the service entrance and they know your info when you arrive. More
Didn’t get a deal what so ever. But i couldn’t get the car elsewhere. Car was marked “sold” to me but when negotiating they said there was someone else interested in my car. Never again. The truck they sold us was not the truck we got. It was supposed to be a 6 cylinder (as per the documents) and the service manager pointed out a couple weeks later it was only a 4. We had to t got. It was supposed to be a 6 cylinder (as per the documents) and the service manager pointed out a couple weeks later it was only a 4. We had to take the truck back and start over. During the shopping experience we were told one thing only to be told something else at signing. The used sales manager was rude and arrogant. We were also mislead in financing. We asked to finance through DACU but finance said their Toyota rate was lower. We found out later it was not. We also were told the second truck we got was fully towing capable, a full towing package capable of 6000 lbs. It is not and the year and model did not even have the capabilities the sales person said it could do. We were very clear walking in the door what we needed. I do not trust anything this dealership says. More
Mark was an excellent person to help us. We flew in from Amarillo, Texas and he picked us up at the airport. He was very helpful (even getting our luggage) and took us to the dealership. He had all the paperwork ready for us and we were through with it in a very short period of time. When he took us to our car it had been washed, detailed and was even full of gas. He spent considerable time showing us all the features of our Highlander and even set up the Apple Carplay for us - a wonderful feature. He called the next day to see how we liked our new purchase and told us to call if we needed anything going forward. The dealership itself is very well lighted and clean with a lot of nice employees. We were also very impressed with the General Sales Manager - Preston Baird - who helped us finalize this deal. More
