Buyers beware. My husband purchased a vehicle from the Toyota Of Danville im Tilton IL on a Saturday. After leaving the lot, he only made it about 20miles away My husband purchased a vehicle from the Toyota Of Danville im Tilton IL on a Saturday. After leaving the lot, he only made it about 20miles away before something in vehicle caught fire and he lost all electrical in the car. We hadn't even had the car long enough to put any meaningful miles on it. The following Monday, we contacted a dealership that specializes in this make and model. After looking into the situation, they told us the vehicle was essentially a total loss. We then contacted the dealership that sold us the car, hoping they would stand behind what they sold us and help make things right. Instead, we were told they were not going to do anything. We understand that used vehicles can have issues, but a vehicle catching fire immediately after purchase is far beyond normal wear and tear. We are incredibly disappointed with how this has been handled and believe other buyers deserve to know about our experience before deciding to purchase from this dealership.
