Over the past week, both my wife and I made a few different visits to the dealer to inspect and drive the vehicle. We had lengthy conversations with the sales person and the manager; they knew we were interested. At some point over the past few days, the dealer apparently removed the specific identifying information for this vehicle, including pictures, from its website and replaced it with a "generic" listing with a price that was $4,000 higher than what I had relied upon originally. Nobody at the dealership informed us of this development during our visits there this past week, including a visit yesterday, even though they knew we were seriously interested in the vehicle and had seen the original listing online. When I returned today to make a deal to purchase the vehicle, I was told the Internet price upon which I had relied was "a mistake" (even though the original price was absolutely consistent with the advertised prices for the same model offered by other dealerships). The new price was suddenly $4,000 higher. They offered to discount the new price by $3,000 - still $1,000 over the original online price that I was relying upon to negotiate a final deal. I have purchased used (and new) vehicles several times over the years and expect certain sales tactics and "games" that sometimes cross the line of being ethical. But today's shenanigans were simply sad and disgusting. Really impressive, Toyota of Bowie. More

Bad credit but walked out with a car of my choice! Toyota care service I had a not so good experience on my last service here for my 20k mile service. It took unusually long and they were unable to complete the oil change. I expressed my concern to service manager Alex Garcia later that day by phone. He was very apologetic and genuine about wanting to make me happy and remain a customer. He offered to redo the service and provide a loaner car for me to get to work while they serviced my vehicle. I understand mistakes get made but it is nice to know that management will step in to fix the situation and minimize my inconvenience. I'm typically not one to complain, but I could not have asked for a better result from Alex Garcia. For that reason, I'm willing to remain a customer of Toyota of Bowie. More

The question became, "Do I keep my good condition "97 Camry with only 91,000+ miles, or do I buy/lease a new car with modern technology?" After doing some research online, and at another brand dealership, I called Toyota of Bowie, New Car Department. Kevon Brooks was very professional from our first telephone conversation to book an appointment. At that appointment, he asked another salesman, Tim White to join us. After a thorough, no pressure meeting, I left with their written down information about each choice which I could study at home to make a decision that fit MY transportation needs. Yesterday, since Kevon was out of town, he had arranged for the closing that was equally low key and very professional. I will miss my 20 year old, low mileage, tan '97 Camry friend, but this red, 2017 Corolla is a winner! Anita R. More

My repair was one that required same day fixing, otherwise, I couldn't start my car. Also, I had a time constraint with respect to getting my car back because of an important previous commitment. I am pleased to report that Toyota of Bowie repaired my car and it was available well within my time constraint so that I was able to meet my commitment. I have used Toyota of Bowie service for years and have always been impressed by the overall professionalism of all that I have come in contact with, including the shuttle drivers. I am happy to refer friends and family to them. More

This is my one of the main reason to buy the car apart from servicing. Servicing is still very good and I will recommend it. Not an exceptional service! Here is another I almost forgot. During the purchase of my car I requested to install GPS system which was installed by a third party (Bob is the owner). Here is what I did not like. 1. First of all they installed one year old system 2. No detail user guide 3. It kept the last entered address and tried to take me there 4. Upon request Mr. Bob happened to show at my house without letting me know 5. After that visit he neither called or tried to reach me through text. I am not using it for directions but rather my phone. I feel I did mistake asking to install for $1250. I could buy the best GPS within $500. I feel like cheated. More
