I brought my 4Runner in for service for a leak in the left axle. I told Service Advisor (Karl Knowles) to also check oil pan because I just had it replace by the Lube Center. I waited (4) hours then fina left axle. I told Service Advisor (Karl Knowles) to also check oil pan because I just had it replace by the Lube Center. I waited (4) hours then finally asked Karl for status. He gives me estimate amounting to $6,000. No work was performed! I had to keave my 4Runner there another day! More

During my efforts to sell my Toyota RAV4, I ventured to three dealerships in Maryland and Virginia. I decided to return to the dealership where I originally purchased from--Toyota of Bowie. I had the best experience selling my vehicle to their sales professional Shawan Dawkins. Not only was she professional, courteous, and informative, she offered me the best price for my vehicle. After processing the paperwork, since the shuttle driver was not at work on the July 4 holiday, she served as the shuttle driver and gave me a ride home. On the following day she returned my vehicle tags to the Department of Motor Vehicles. If this is not outstanding customer service, I do not know what is. Kevon Brooks was THE BEST salesperson. He diligently worked to find a Toyota Highlander when it was the end of the season and inventory was low, PLUS, I wanted a certain color! The only criticism about any MD dealer I have, is that they (not just this one) can charge a $500 "processing fee, not mandated by law". No one can reasonably explain but "everybody charges it", which I don't find acceptable. Customers need to reject this unfair practice, maybe by starting in Annapolis. More

Of course I was told everything is negotiable. so they raise the price and whatever they can pick from your pocket over msrp is added profit. Of course this is not revealed until they have you where they want you. These people are out for your money and nothing else, you and your family should stay clear of this type of business tactic and Bowie Toyota. More
