All of the cars that they list on their site are either already sold or simply ghost cars. I think they falsely advertise just to get customers to come to their dealership. A bait and switch scam. Also, th already sold or simply ghost cars. I think they falsely advertise just to get customers to come to their dealership. A bait and switch scam. Also, they tried to hide an add on charge of $3000 (something about the market being hot right now) but, if you look around, you can find other dealers that don’t have that charge or substantially less ($1000) of a charge. This was the oddest car purchase I've ever had amd I've purchased quite a few. First, Suburu of Ann arbor honored and gave above KBB offer. At first I was going to take the cash oh, and then I found a ve purchased quite a few. First, Suburu of Ann arbor honored and gave above KBB offer. At first I was going to take the cash oh, and then I found a vehicle that I wanted on the Toyota side. This is where it really just got weird apparently Toyota didn't want the Kia Soul but I wanted the tax credit so they did some weird thing I don't know it was just very odd. Let me make this short and I will go into further details later. I don't want to name the salesperson and I worked with over on the Subaru side cuz it might be unfair to her since it took her a week to get it to me vehicle. I asked multiple times to get me numbers on the vehicle. I just wanted to know what the total cost was. I was thinking about financing however at that time was unaware that if you financed less than 10,000 apparently it cost you more. Anyways, what's the time when you go in and they just start writing numbers down and they might walk off well this is a walk-off, for a week on and off. I do believe she made them the only salesperson I've ever met at a dealership that said the dealership doesn't like you to take it to your own mechanic. I have always been told they want you to do that. So I did. There were three things that my mechanic pointed out there was something going on with the exhaust, said it needed brakes and rotors all around(no lift just driving it)and the drain in the spare well as it was soaking the carpet). Not really a big deal. My mechanic told me to absolutely have the brakes and the rotors fixed or do not take the vehicle. That is an expensive fix. When I was driving and I did not realize that it was the brakes because it didn't make any sound it wasn't grinding. But what it would do is like jump as you were trying to stop and then we start kind of vibrating. Apparently that's a Telltale sign we got there looking up he was correct. I called the salesperson who I'm not going to name(Alexis), and she said , We'll figure out something when you get back. At the time I already had a $500 deposit on it. I got back to the dealership went over to the Toyota side that was one of the bosses Todd and I'm not quite for sure what the salesperson told him. However he came over with the piece of paper at that time I did not know that it was the inspection worksheet that the mechanic at the Toyota place did prior to it going out on the lot. He told me he spent like $900 on it and that they weren't going to really do anything else because the breaks his mechanic said we're seven out of eight. I get to see the paper other than for a split second when he was showing me. He walked off and I ask myself person if I could get a copy of that. Well, that didn't happen until as I was signing the papers with multiple times of asking that and for the numbers. So, I told her that if this wasn't going to be done and I didn't want the vehicle. She said she'll get it taken care of I have several texts from her stating that they were going to fix the rotors which is why the car was purchased. She said she couldn't promise me the muffler and I said that's fine but she said the rotor and the drain would be taken care of moving forward a couple days I was ready to get this over with. But then she set me up with a finance person who tried to sell me a $3,000 warranty, a LoJack, glass and tire protection and on top of all that wanted me to put the $7,500 that I was getting for the car in an account that they would help set up and it would come out automatically withdrawal and I would be like 30 payments ahead. What I have never heard of such a thing. I do know that I wouldn't have got the new tax credit had I done that. I didn't want all that and then when I saw that they were going to charge 5.6% interest and I was going to be paying on it for 72 months I was ready to pay cash in the first place I just wanted to know what the it would be to help my daughter out if it was not going to cost anything. But I didn't even know anything about this warranty until she said oh this warranty I kept asking how much it was 4 / day didn't know how much it was until I met with that Finance. Needless to say, even though she stated there was a zero deductible and it would cover me bumper to bumper found it which I don't believe,. If I have to buy a $3,000 warranty on a $13,000 car and I don't want that car. So the finance guy walks off says he's going to work on some numbers, never returns. I was told by my salesperson that he was new and that somebody else is going to be taking over. Taking over what I'm not quite for sure I just want to buy this xxxx car and get the xxxx out of here. So day or so later she told me that she finally has all the paperwork I asked her to send me copies of everything with the picture. Every picture that I received was blurry I was unable to see it as clear as I should have been and she should have seen that prior to sending it. But I know why now I guess, I asked her to transfer a plate over, she just decided to charge me a hundred extra dollars to get a new tag. In all this is in text and she tried to argue with me that the fee was actually something this SOS Department charged. That it wasn't a new tag we got into a huge argument about this well not huge but an argument cuz I know it wasn't a transfer fee. Was it fine whatever whatever let's just get this done let's get the vehicle. I also asked her to put my daughter on the title she asked for my daughter's driver's license, and that was all sent to her. And when she sent me the papers and I realize that she wasn't on there I asked why she tried to tell me that she couldn't be on the title because shoot because I was going to finance it. I stayed it I'm not financing it I want her on the the title and she said oh well you can just go down to the tailgate to the SOS and do that that's how you have to do that. That's not true. She could have been easily put on there so I wouldn't have to go to the SOS. Going through the paperwork i see the WE OWE PAPEr. And I see that the brakes and rotors are just going to be inspected. So I bring this up to her. She said well we'll just kind of go from there. I said no I if it says inspect that's all they have to do you told me that they were going to replace him, mind you I have three texts at this point stating that they were going to fix them. So time again goes by she gives me some excuse that she has to get something signed off you got to got to go out there so the car could not get delivered to me that night. Did I say she calls and says okay let's get this done are we ready I'm like yep everything done with work yet everything's good I assumed that it was fixed. But then I realize it wasn't so I head up to the dealership and I speak with Todd over on the Toyota side after myself person told me not to go up there. That she would let me know when he was available. He and I spoke he still States there's nothing wrong with the tires however he has never driven it I'm sorry the brakes. He says that he's not going to fix them but he'll give me to oil changes. I walk out the car supposed to be delivered and I'm ready to be done with this it's been over a week now and I'm paying cash. So I get a call from myself first and stating okay I know you wanted a full tank of gas we don't usually do that which I thought most dealerships do maybe not now because the gas prices I don't know but it was on empty. And I was told that Todd said I could either have one will change and a tank of gas or to oil changes that I need to decide. What I've decided is I'm about done with this cell and it was bad enough that when I said I wasn't going to take it because she didn't fix that she tried to put Demi put down another deposit and then told me that it was going to be put back on the lot I was supposed to be buying it that night and there was issues with her paperwork and then I'm getting threatened stating that she's going to put it back on the lot if I don't come up there right now right now to do to do the cell and give her $500 they're going to put it back on and then she had to leave at 3 couldn't wait any longer. Let me just let you know it did go back on the lot and it was up $2,000 they put it back on the lot for 15 5 before it was listed for 14 and then I got the daily deal of 13-5. I've been looking at this car and been trying to buy it for over a week and are you kidding me they put it back on the lot. Moving forward the car is being brought to the house for the paperwork to be signed and 4 to be dropped off. So let me refresh everybody and let you know I have not received the inspection list nor would I had been able to look at it. I had not received the supposedly new we owe form as she was supposed to get that signed off of. And was supposed to get my daughter added to the title. And I guess it's a good idea I decided not on the warranty because I was waiting for that I finally got the piece of paper wouldn't shows the Toyota care and it said there were tears Fergie Jacksonville's but she told me there was Zero deductible. 20 ways to learn sign the papers I get to see the print out of the inspection and write on there it says that there is an exhaust leak. Was not told that. So the $900 that he said he spent on the car here's what they fixed three windshield wipers and an oil filter. Apparently they put a LoJack on it but I don't know where that's at. Papers were signed and I still don't have that we owe. Ticket to the muffler shop is my mechanic does not weld and now that it was on the list find out that they're going to leak the whole Muffler crack in half. The brakes are so bad you can't drive the vehicle I just spent $400 on the muffler it's been raining and my car is being flooded and the vehicle is unsafe. I go up and I tried to talk to Todd I try to talk to Alexis but yet nobody wants to respond so I have to go up to the dealership he told me the brakes were fine yet he would not drive it I've had the vehicle for two weeks I've been asking for it since I had it before I had it. I am angry and upset that they're telling me that nothing is wrong with these brakes and rotors when it is apparently wrong so wrong that's it my daughter who I've got the car for one even drive it it's not safe. But I don't have any paperwork today I'm getting oil changes I don't have the Rio paper and they know all this. And then was told it doesn't matter that she put it in writing on text. So I guess that's not really considered to be in writing be aware. Surely this is not how they handled business when Mrs. Dunning owned it for 51 years, Maybe this is just how the new owner handled business sell cars with exhaust leaks bad rotors and bad brakes knowing that it's for 17 year old girl. So just be very we're a lot of promises lots and lots of promises but it's only to get you to buy the car. It's definitely not family-owned anymore. All I wanted is to have the brakes and rotors fixed and they refused to do it I've already paid for the muffler. They just absolutely refuse to do it what's sad is a wouldn't even check it out themselves. Because I don't care cuz they got the money don't go here he will be sorry I've seen other post stating that it's taken over a week to buy a car there is no reason why it would take more than half a day. I don't know how long a dealership could stay open that long if that's how they've treated people before.. very very disappointed. Thank you Todd and Alexis More
