Update- since my review I did get a call with an update, The part is on back order, so maybe the end of July they will have it. While I am not happy to hear that, at least I know where I stand. Toyota as a The part is on back order, so maybe the end of July they will have it. While I am not happy to hear that, at least I know where I stand. Toyota as a whole, not the dealership, has not stood behind this vehicle. I am expecting Toyota of AA to stay on top of this and also keep me updated. I have called repeated for an update on my new 2023 vehicle that has never been right - first appt. was on 4/12. I last picked it up 5/17 after being there another 2 weeks. I was told then the part will come in a couple weeks. Now 6/14, no updates and no one returns my call s. Every call goes to "leave a message and we will return your call". After 5 or 6 calls i may get a call back. I thought Toyota would be a quality vehicle with reputable dealerships. I'm frustrated they have not corrected this defect in a timely manner. More

I would give 0 stars if possible. Don't fall for their competitive prices on pre-owned inventory cars !! I have used Ann Arbor Toyota formerly Dunning for service for 10 years. At my last service I asked for the estimate and was told I would get the receipt when the service was done.I realized that the estimat for 10 years. At my last service I asked for the estimate and was told I would get the receipt when the service was done.I realized that the estimate was high but I did not pursue it, I was charged for service I did no t request. Very Shady..Michigan law requires a written estimate be given to customer not just signed. Extra service was neither required nor recommended by Toyuta Manufacture. More
I had previously given this dealership a four star review. However, after MONTHS of corresponding with Kayla and Jeremy requesting that a check my mother wrote be sent back to us in the mail and still review. However, after MONTHS of corresponding with Kayla and Jeremy requesting that a check my mother wrote be sent back to us in the mail and still not receiving the check, I’m forced to change my review. On October 13th I was told that the check would be located and put in the mail. It’s been over a month. We saw Jeremy put the check in his drawer while we were there in September. So, unless the check grew legs and walked away, it should still be there. It’s fine if the check was shredded or thrown away but no one has the gall to tell us this information. Instead, I’ve been pacified with promises to look for and mail the check with no follow up until I send another e-mail to request a status update. Stay away from this dealership!!!!!!!! More
I would not recommend buying a Vehicle from this dealership. I went down for a 3pm appointment to buy a vehicle from Hunter on a Tuesday. The paperwork wasn’t ready and was told that would get us out as soon as possible. 4pm comes around and due to electrical issues (not on them) we can’t complete the purchase. They let me take the vehicle home as I lived in the Lansing area and said some one will come out Thursday to my house to sign the papers. Cool. Thursday comes around and I have to be the one who reaches out about what time they will arrive to sign the papers. They end up sending over someone on Friday. Person comes over to our house and signs the papers so we figure we’re good. Thursday of the following week Hunter reaches out to me and says they can’t find the down payment check I provided and that the paperwork hadn’t been transmitted to SOS yet. My check is eventually found and then I’m notified they didn’t bring all the paperwork for us to sign so they have to send someone back out for signing. I know it’s hard to find vehicles these days but I would recommend you do business with another dealer. More
Apparently signed documents by the dealership that state your purchase price and trade-in amount are no longer meaningful. Easily the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, and managed by an individual th your purchase price and trade-in amount are no longer meaningful. Easily the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, and managed by an individual that does business like a shady used car lot. After agreeing to a purchase price and trade-in amount for my vehicle, they had me submit a deposit to locate a vehicle for me. Once it arrived, they then lowered my trade-in by 18% stating that it was a market rate adjustment. I knew this was totally fabricated and pushed back. KBB cash offer had actually gone up since my deposit was made, and absolutely nothing supports this supposed market crash they claim existed. It was one lie after another by the manager, Jared Lepic, as to why my trade-in was now substantially less. He tried to say that he has very current data that supports the new offer, and that KBB is 6 months behind. When I asked to view this data he then got very flustered and it became just things he had been hearing from Zoom calls with used car dealers. I then was told that if I did not accept the offer they would not sell me the new vehicle that I had already placed a deposit on. The complete lack of professionalism or even attempt to operate ethically made this a terrible car buying experience. All I wanted was for them to honor the document that myself and the manager had signed at the time of them taking my deposit. Instead, I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership, and I have let many friends in the market for a new vehicle know to avoid them as well. If you do unfortunately find yourself in discussions on a vehicle with them, beware of all of their bogus add-ons (LoJack, Repel, Nitrogen, or A/W Protection Upgrade Package). They present it initially in a way that sounds as though they are included and it's what sets them apart. However, in reality it is many thousands of dollars ($3k-$5k) added on to the MSRP of the vehicle. Don't believe them when they say those things can't be removed from the price because I had all of those things removed. More
