This dealer is involved in potential illegal activity. I went to purchase a newish Toyota vehicle 2024 model. First of all, I had a scheduled appointment with Anthony. And as soon as I reached the dealer, I went to purchase a newish Toyota vehicle 2024 model. First of all, I had a scheduled appointment with Anthony. And as soon as I reached the dealer, I was never allowed to meet Anthony despite me asking multiple times. I took a 2024 Toyota vehicle for a test drive and when I went ahead to sign the documentation, they said they have a mandatory $3000 “other products fee” that I have to pay in addition to the listed price! What? Essentially, the $3000 add-on has to be paid if I wanted to purchase the car. The car was listed at $24,500, but the paperwork that I signed had the price increased by $3000 to $27,500. This is obviously illegal since if there is a mandatory “other products fee”, then the car should have been advertised for $27,500 and NOT $24,500. Subsequent calls from me to them have gone unanswered. I asked for a manager to give me a call to refund me the $3000 and adjust the contract accordingly, but never received any call back. So they are doing blatantly and obvious illegal things and are getting away with it. It is shocking they are given the license to do these straightforward illegal things. I just wonder for how long they will keep scamming people?! Stay away from them! Will have given them a -1000 star if that was an option! More
