This morning, I noticed I had lost 10/30/2013 My name is Sandra Motonaga. I live in Pearl City, Hawaii and commute daily to my job in Hawaii Kai. This morning, I noticed I had lost a hub cap. Most Likely due to the high volume of road construction and uneven pavement encountered during my daily commute. This morning, I called the service center and inquired if a replacement was possible. The service representative (male) was so kind and informed me one hub cap for my car was in stock, he quoted me the price of approx $87.00. I asked him if he could hold it for me, as I was unsure of when I could make it out to the service center. He was kind enough to offer to hold it through Saturday. I was fortunate to make it to the service center today. As I drove up, I was greeted by Gary Hu and his courteous service staff. He asked how he could help me and I informed him. he escorted me inside and listened to my story about my commute and how I lost my hub cap. He responded by asking me if he could offer me a free car wash coupon. I was so happy to accept, as this would alleviate some of the "stress" of an unanticipated expense of purchasing my hub cap! Gary Hu touched me to the core, he then informed me I would also not have to pay for my hub cap! He brought tears to my eyes! I reacted with immense appreciation, as my own son (living with a rare developmental disability) was having medical treatment. to be able to save the cost of the hub cap and apply it towards my medical expenses is a blessing! Gary Hu then introduced me to Service consultant, Guy Miyasaki, to complete the sales / purchase order for my hub cap. Guy was just as gracious, courteous and kind and completed the purchase order and informed me he would also make sure all of the remaining three hubcaps on my car would also be checked to make sure they were secured. I did not have to wait long, the service team did an excellent job to install the new hub cap and ensure my vehicle was safe. When completed, Guy Miyasaki, informed me everything was checked and secure, he also went the extra mile to informe me of when my next service date should be scheduled. Guy then introduced me to Customer Service Representative, Kanani Abiley. Kanani was efficiant with completing my service and she provided me with a complimentary car wash coupon. I can not say enough to praise the entire team of employees that represent TONY VOLKSWAGEN I was treated with respect, and sincere professional service from my initial phone call, to arriving at the service center to concluding my visit. I wish I could remember everyone's name, as it is very apparent, the employees work together as a team full of pride to offer the very best customer service! Thank You from the bottom of my heart! I was welcomed as soon as I pulled in the service department, and soon, my vehicle was in the bay, getting worked on, They happily honored my coupons for savings and also repaired my tire that had a department, and soon, my vehicle was in the bay, getting worked on, They happily honored my coupons for savings and also repaired my tire that had a nail in it. We also set up another appointment for additional service at my convenience. Overall, I actually enjoy my visit to service my vehicle and always recommend this department for friendly, non intimidating environment. More
I am very busy and getting my car all the way to the dealership would have been much too difficult, so after talking with Gary Hu the service manager, he offered to come and collect my car and leave me dealership would have been much too difficult, so after talking with Gary Hu the service manager, he offered to come and collect my car and leave me a loaner while they worked on my car, Wow this was so easy for me and both times they have left me a new very nice car!! My current purchase experience through Mazda Cutter was a horrible experience in all aspects. From the initial transaction, to the financial process and especially the follow-on service. I come to Tony horrible experience in all aspects. From the initial transaction, to the financial process and especially the follow-on service. I come to Tony Autoplex, to trade in my truck just to rid myself from having to deal with Mazda Cutter. Although I was not able to trade my truck, the Sales Representative, Tommy Chun-Ming help me with exploring all possible options. He even was patient with walking each option through its pros/cons with me. He demonstrated a honest effort with assisting me with my decision that would offer the best option of from what I had to choose from. It appeared he was more concern that I was satisfied with the deal (option) then for him to just making the sale. He allowed me the time to think it through and was not "pushing". The financial process was pleasant and fast. I didn't feel like I was in another sales push for add-ones. I was offered and explained and my first answers was accepted. My only regret is not going to Tony Autoplex prior to Mazda Cutter. Note: the brand field selection did not list the brand I purchased, Volkswagon. More
My husband and I decided it was time to start shopping for a new car as our 11 year old Saturn was starting to cost more in repairs than the value of the car. We had in mind a VW Passat as we drove one for a new car as our 11 year old Saturn was starting to cost more in repairs than the value of the car. We had in mind a VW Passat as we drove one in Houston in September. I also owned a Jetta. We visited one other VW Dealership before we headed out to the Tony Group. We found Ryan Riveira to be very knowledgeable about VWs and he was there to ensure that we got what we wanted. We had a budget and knew what we were willing to pay monthly. Ryan initially showed us a Passat SE which was nice but not in the colors we were interested in. He then took us to see the new inventory and we found our Passat Wolfburg. What I am most impressed with is that Ryan made sure we knew the difference between the two cars, i.e. the SE and the Wolfburg. And Miles the finance manager did not jerk us around on price. He gave us the best price without us having to go back and forth. We are looking forward to a relationship with the Tony Group. At the end of the year my husband will be looking to replace his SUV and who knows we may end up at the Tony Group for that purchase too. More
Our experience when buying a new car from Tommy was excellent, and comfortable. I have had the experience of buying a new car 9 times previously, but this 10th time with Tommy was the most pleasant one excellent, and comfortable. I had my other car serviced at Tony VW a little later and Guy Miyasaki of the Service Department was nice and courteous too. There was also a tall, skinny gentleman who received my car (I don’t see him in the staff list but he is always there when I go to the services); His gentle, welcoming smile made me feel that my favorite car would be in good hands. I haven’t had a chance to meet with the general manager, but I assume he must be a nice person too because normally the head of office has a big influence on those who work there. More
