Made appointment and did nothing. Made an appointment at 7:30 in the morning for wrench light service engine light on and get a key programmed. Was called at 5:30 and they needed it another day because they did not get to it. They just hooked up a computer to get codes and did nothing else. Told me the wrench light was not on. When I left it came on less than 100 yards from the dealership. Pretty pointless to make an appointment when it means nothing. What a good waste of a day. Made the apointmenon Monday for wed and left knowing nothing more than when I went there. Taking it some where else can that actually cares about there coming customers time. More
Beware I purchased a 2011 Ford Expedition a little over a year ago from Tony Betten Ford. I have had several issues with this truck and absolutely hate it. I I purchased a 2011 Ford Expedition a little over a year ago from Tony Betten Ford. I have had several issues with this truck and absolutely hate it. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle here. Five months after purchasing it I had to have the rear differential replaced and 8 months after owning it I had to have the entire engine replaced. My truck has been back in their shop several times since then due to issues with the engine. I just recently dropped my truck off there again and was given a loaner car that I had to take back to have a tire fixed. My expedition is the most unreliable car I have ever purchased. My truck is currently back at the dealership and has been there for almost 3 weeks. Parts were ordered to repair the engine that was just replaced but come to find out it wasn't that part but something else and it needs another engine. I have receipts totaling almost $12,000 in repairs and I imagine with the next repair of another engine it will be close to $20,000. I paid $25,000 for the vehicle. I've spoken with every manager there including the Vice President and they will not help me replace this hunk of junk with a reliable car. At this point my truck is a liability and not an asset. Please don't go here and make the same mistake I did. More
Untrustworthy Dealership We came to Tony and Betten because of family history of purchasing through this dealership, which we assumed trustworthy. We got our trade-in vehicle appraised but we went home to think about our choices. Three days later we went back to the dealership to trade in our current vehicle for a new vehicle. When it came time to sign the papers, we noticed that they had our trade in value at a thousand dollars LESS than what we had originally discussed. When we confronted them about this, they said there must have been some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. However, we had the papers that the dealer had wrote down all the details, including the trade in value of our current car. The paper clearly wrote out the trade in value, and yet the dealer denied the value and refused to give us the written rate. Therefore, we were cheated out of a thousand dollars. A month later, through the family that referred us to this dealer, the dealer said that there must have been some mistake and he "wanted to make things right". We never went back to make a correction, instead we will not do any more business with them, as will the rest of the family. This dealer has proved to be untrustworthy, even to loyal customers that have purchased through them for years. Very disappointed with our experience. We had a much more successful experience with Zeigler Ford out of Lowell, MI and we will use them for our next purchase. More

Not the dealership for buying a used car I recently went into Tony Betten Ford looking for a used Ford Escape. I first worked with Dave Hill who treated me with respect and did very well with contacting me and talking to me respectfully (He is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1). On my second trip to the dealership I brought my wife with me and we met with the manager because Mr. Hill was out-of-town. I am a teacher in my mid-20's and was a serious buyer for the used 2011 Ford Escape. The manager treated me quite poorly, calling me "son" and pushing me into leasing a new vehicle even though I was adamant I wasn't interested in leasing. This interaction not only made me seek out other dealerships, but other vehicles as well. I would not recommend this dealership, especially for buyers of used cars. I ended up buying a 2011 GMC Terrain, (much better gas mileage/ space/ safety) from Fox Buick GMC on Alpine Ave. Additionally I got $1700 more for my trade and they included certification of the vehicle, and 2 yrs worth of oil changes and tire rotations. Obviously, much better service. With many people looking at used cars now, I would advise getting much better service at a different dealership for your used vehicle purchase. More
Terrible customer service Tried to buy a car through the Internet. The salesman would not respond to multiple emails. When I finally got him to give me a price, I told him I had a much cheaper price on the same car. I forwarded the email and he called me a liar since the car had sold. When I noticed they lowered the price, I inquired again. Still would only send me the car facts, no out the door price. I made an offer and no response. They obviously don't want to sell a car. I hope they sit on it for another six months. More
