Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Mismanagement at Tomball Ford I purchased a used vehicle from Tomball Ford, which turned out to be an extraordinarily unpleasant experience. The vehicle, with low Tomball Ford I purchased a used vehicle from Tomball Ford, which turned out to be an extraordinarily unpleasant experience. The vehicle, with low mileage and under two years of use, was misrepresented and handled poorly from the outset. 1. Unprepared Vehicle Upon Pickup: On my first attempt to pick up the vehicle, it had not been detailed as promised, and blacked-out hubcaps, which I did not request, were still installed. I called the following morning to confirm these issues would be resolved before I arrived. Despite this, nothing was addressed: the hubcaps remained, the vehicle was dirty inside and out, and the oil had not been changed. Furthermore, I was informed only one key was available, and I’d need to return on a Tuesday to have another made. Considering the vehicle had been on the lot for over 60 days, these issues were unacceptable. Tomball Ford suggested I take the vehicle as-is and return another day for proper cleaning and hubcap removal. I refused and left the vehicle for another day. 2. Repeat Failures in Vehicle Preparation: On my second visit, the vehicle was still not detailed properly. My specific requests to vacuum out potato chips in the trunk and clean under the hubcaps were ignored. The vehicle’s exterior condition worsened, with the trim on the front and rear doors severely scratched, likely from improper cleaning methods. I was assured the trim would be replaced and that the pillar molding on both sides of the windshield would also be replaced. 3. CarPlay Issues and Unfulfilled Promises: On my third attempt to pick up the vehicle, the CarPlay system was nonfunctional. While this was repaired, the promised replacements for the trim and pillar molding were not completed. I was told to return another day. After multiple assurances, I refused to pick up the vehicle until all issues were resolved. Later, I was informed the pillar molding was on backorder or recalled. Upon investigation, we found the parts were readily available. Furthermore, Tomball Ford provided a receipt indicating parts were in stock and charged over $500 for replacements that were not installed. 4. Deal Cancellation and Continued Mismanagement: After repeated failures, I accepted their offer to void the deal. However, this process was also mismanaged. On December 30, 2024, the finance manager, Sherif, assured me I would receive confirmation that the deal was reversed by 10 AM. This never happened. Shockingly, Tomball Ford re-listed the vehicle on Auto Trader while it was still under my name. I reported this multiple times to Auto Trader and the finance company. Additionally, they falsely reported to Sirius Radio that I had sold my personal vehicle, leading to the cancellation of my service. Tomball Ford denies responsibility for this. 5. Lack of Accountability: Despite numerous attempts to escalate the matter, I was unable to speak with General Manager Brent Christensen. On one occasion, a receptionist falsely claimed he was in a meeting when he was on vacation. Follow-ups with other staff, including Sales Manager Servando Diaz and Salesman Mike Zorro, yielded no resolution. Conclusion: Tomball Ford’s lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and repeated failure to meet basic obligations have made this the worst car-buying experience I have ever encountered. I possess documentation and photos supporting all claims in this complaint and strongly urge others to avoid this dealership. More

My Shelby GT350 has had electrical issues that causes the airbag light to on. They said they fixed it 3 months later it came back on. Next I was told the part was on back order, the next time they had to order it, the next time they said Ford denied the warranty. Not once did Walter call when the part arrived. Then Darrell said " it's the customers responsibly to follow up. IM SORRY I THOUGHT THATS WHAT THE SERVICE ADVISORS GET PAID TO DO.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They get 1 star only because zero stars is not an option. I went in today to purchase a vehicle listed for $34000 on their website. I had already provided them with all the information on the trade and they I went in today to purchase a vehicle listed for $34000 on their website. I had already provided them with all the information on the trade and they sent me a response saying it was valued between $32000 and $37000 but they would need to see the vehicle. (it is a 2020 ram with 16k miles and in like new condition). Things started out ok until the salesman brought out the offer and the trade in value was $29000 and the price of the vehicle i wanted went back up to full MSRP of $39000. Then he started to talk about a $3300 dealer add on that was not included in the advertised price. When i asked about the discrepancies I was told I could only get the discounted price with a trade in and they would have to discount the trade in an equal amount. Of course I sad no. Then the salesman went back to the office and returned with a white shirt (I guess he was a manager or supervisor) who then provided me with 2 offers and tried to explain to me how the offer that would cost $11000 out of my pocket was a better offer than one that would take $6000 out of my pocket. I don't know about you but if the money is coming out of my pocket the lower amount is always better. His response was something along the lines of well I don't know how you are going to pay for it like that makes a difference. After three attempts to get me to accept the higher out of pocket off I said no and I'm done to which he responded in a very nasty way then get off his car lot. Which I did. This is only my experience at Tomball ford but, you can be assured that I will never set foot on their lot again. More

The a/c system had no issues they morning I took it for the recall swap. When I left Tomball Ford, not only did the ac now blow hot air, but the rear ac didn’t work at all! They said it “was like that when you came”, and “we did nothing to the ac system”…..Shelby in tue service department is a liar and thief, saying I had to pay $140 for them to tell me what they broke!!! I went over her head and if the problem is not resolved I will file a police report. Never go to Tomball ford-they should be shut down. More
I'm sure this comment will be taken down or I'll be blocked, but I'm gonna write it anyways. I parked across the street at Walmart this morning, and called this dealership. I spoke to Jasmine, and ask blocked, but I'm gonna write it anyways. I parked across the street at Walmart this morning, and called this dealership. I spoke to Jasmine, and asked if they had a particular car physically there on the lot, that was advertised on their website. She put me on hold, and came back and said oh yes it's here. I said ok I'll be there in just a few minutes. We got there, and guess what?? The vehicle was not there!! Imagine that.. David B. came out, and said " oh jasmine is just internet sales, she's the one that gets people in here but I'll be your salesman". Well ... Your salesman doesn't even call people back, OR give them prices! I asked David B. to call me with the dealer price, as he would only give me MSRP. He wanted me to come in. I told him no, that's not how I buy cars. I said Just call me with a price. He never called. I called him, and he told me some lame excuse that he was in a sales meeting and had not had time, but would call me back shortly. That never happened either. So we went elsewhere . It's sad though. You lie to get people in there. Then you won't give them a price, unless they're willing to sit and play your game. Total lying waste of time, for a cash paying customer looking at a brand new explorer!!! You give car dealerships, and salesman a bad name! More
If I can. . ZERO Stars **Review for Tomball Ford Dealer Service** I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Tomball Ford's service department. My . ZERO Stars **Review for Tomball Ford Dealer Service** I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Tomball Ford's service department. My visit began with a mishap when I scratched my passenger side front fender against a metal swing arm they use for after-hours locking. Despite the obvious flaw in their setup, neither the dealer nor the manager took any responsibility, leaving me to cover the repair costs through my vehicle insurance. Regarding my truck’s faulty shock issue, it took an unacceptable three full days just to get a technician to inspect it and a total of ten days to complete the repairs. When I finally got my truck back, it was covered in dust, inside and out. I had dropped it off in immaculate condition, but their dirt roads and lack of care resulted in a filthy vehicle. The least they could have done was to wash it before returning it to me. The disappointments didn’t end there. Upon picking up my truck, I discovered that the A/C wasn’t cooling at all. When I went back inside to find the service rep, I was told she had left for the day. I spoke with Valentin about the dirty condition of my truck and the non-functional A/C. All he did was apologize and suggest I bring the truck back another day. Since I didn’t have a ride back home, he couldn’t offer any transportation while they kept my truck for another week to fix the A/C issue. Overall, my experience with Tomball Ford was extremely frustrating. The lack of responsibility, extended repair times, poor condition of the vehicle upon return, and inadequate customer service have ensured that I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this dealership to anyone.
