Horrible experience! My husband and I bought a 2012 ford fusion sport from Tom Wood. We love the car but have had nothing but trouble since. About a month after buying, we My husband and I bought a 2012 ford fusion sport from Tom Wood. We love the car but have had nothing but trouble since. About a month after buying, we had several storms and we noticed the windshield wipers were not working properly. We took it back in and they didn't want to fix them since it had been a month. They finally relented and fixed them, but a day later we noticed the sun roof had quit opening. Took it back, and they had accidentally unhooked a connection. When we returned to pick it up, they had scratched a portion of the tint off the front windshield that we had to go through the hassle of fixing. Recently the car got a flat. We purchased the tire protection so my husband to it in to get it fix for free- great. When he picked up the car Monday the rim was all scratched up and now we have to find a time to take it back so the can fix that, but only because we had taken a before picture on our phones! Bottom line- you'll never be in this place just once. Never had trouble with the showroom staff but the service center is horrible and a pain. I will not buy from here again, and the only reason I take our car there to be fixed is because of the warranty. Be very wary of this place. Horrible service and rude staff. Be sure to take before and after pictures of the part they are fixing like we did, or they won't fix it! Now they refuse to fix the windshield wipers that are still not working because I posted a bad review on Yelp. Horrible immature way to run a business. Tom the service manager is like dealing with a 12 year old boy. More

While I have not had the experience of purchasing a vehicle from Tom Wood, I do have a Ford and have taken it several times to this dealer for service. I have nothing but positive things to say about their service department, finding them to well exceed the customer service provided to me by other Ford dealers in other states. My vehicle was subject to a recall and where two other Ford dealers brushed me off in the past year by saying that there was nothing Ford (as a company) could do about my problem and my vehicle "wasn't performing badly enough" to bring it in for the recall service, Tom Wood's service department let me know my car did not pass the test for the recall problem and that they would obtain the needed part from Ford as quickly as possible to get it replaced (at no charge to me) and would even provide me with a rental car if needed. I appreciate the remarkable ethics of this dealership's service department. More

Occasionally we have experiences that leave us struggling to find words that can come close to fully conveying the fervor of those internal forces. My recent dealings with Tom Wood Ford, and Tom Kashman in particular, have been a supreme example of one of those experiences. I could sit here and spend the next thirty or forty minutes detailing the many ways these absolute scoundrels made an attempt to get my car serviced into a personal xxxx, but I don't think I have the words needed to adequately describe it. What should have been a routine diagnostic check and repair was turned into weeks of uncertainty, insinuation, doubt, concern, and confusion which all ended up being unwarranted. To be clear, they did nothing to help me, and it took another dealer to fix the issue. Please take a look through the other comments here, and heed them. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. More
Tom Wood Ford for Diesels is a huge no no. First off this was my first experience with a dealership ever. But after being met with friendly smiles and a reassuring promise of satisfaction I dec First off this was my first experience with a dealership ever. But after being met with friendly smiles and a reassuring promise of satisfaction I decided to let them work on my 2003 F250 Diesel. A HUGE MISTAKE! Truck wouldn't start so I figured Ford would be the best place to start. I had the truck towed there. After diagnostic testing their only Diesel Mechanic TIM says that I need a injector#2. I asked the total price of the repair and it seemed on par so I continued with the work. In the midst of the truck being all apart I asked the tech TIM if there was anything else I should be doing to it while its apart and he said it would be a good idea to replace the oil cooler. Short an simple I bought a oil cooler online from a Ford dealer ship to save 250 on the part. Brought it to the tech and had it installed. Was glad I did too because the one that was in the truck was plugged with three inches of rust an particles. Got the truck back and drove the truck and realized that the trucks EOT delta was 30degrees higher than the ECT still. Took it back and explained to the service manager TOM KASHMAN that the truck was not fixed. This guy is a shyster. He immediately started to attack the age of the truck and was blowing me a bunch of hot air. I don't know how he did it but he talked me into paying for a flush and labor to do another cooler. I in all honesty just wanted it fixed so if paying for it again with vc9 flush would do it I was game. Well they kept the truck a month and when I got it back it still has a delta of more than 25 when not towing which is incorrect. Took the truck back still under warranty for the part and the labor and was refused any cooperation from Tom Kashman or Tom Woods Manager Rich Marowski. I feel very taken advantage of by this Business and feel the need to warn potential customers especially diesel customers that this is not the place to go. Don Hinds which is just down the road is much nicer more professional place to take your Ford. The reason why I rate Tom Wood so low is because it was the worst service I've ever received anywhere in 37 years. Im out 2700 dollars and the truck is still not fixed. I tried to sit down with them and get it sorted out with them and they are the rudest people and are not honoring their parts warranties or their service warranties. They are no better than thugs taking money from hard working folks and weaseling their way around their warranties. If you are considering Tom Wood Ford,........Don't! More
Worst experience with a car EVER! Please do not buy any Ford products with this crap dual transmission. I believe these are in the Focus, Fusion, and Fiesta's. They market and advertise it as an automati Ford products with this crap dual transmission. I believe these are in the Focus, Fusion, and Fiesta's. They market and advertise it as an automatic. It's not. It's a manual in an automatic and it's terrible. I bought a new 2012 Ford Fiesta back in February of 2012 and it has been a nightmare of a car. It drove great for the first 9,000 miles. No noise, no jerking, no jolting, no grinding or shuddering. Between 9-10,000 miles the car begins to do the things I mentioned in the last sentence. Dealership agreed at that time there was a problem and they replaced the motor to the transmission. The car ran well and all the mentioned issues went away. 10,000 miles later, the transmission started to act up again doing all the things mentioned before in this review. Dealership once again agreed there was a problem and replaced the clutch to this manual automatic transmission. Once again, car drives as normal and all the issues mentioned previously went away again. Let's jump to 5,000 miles later. Transmission starts acting up again. Dealership confirms on my service paperwork that problem was verified and they did a "flash" of my computer system. Apparently this is the last authorized "fix" Ford has in their pockets to "fix" the transmission. After this last ditch effort, they start to tell you these things are NORMAL! Your transmission slipping and making terrible noises is NORMAL. Of course it is! What?!?!?! What kind of a response is that. Who is gulliable enough to take this as an answer? I worked with Ben for the 3 times they actually took a look at my car. Ben is a great guy and tried to work it out with me. I don't want to take it out on him and that's why I gave customer service a 3. Tom Kashman the service manager could work on his customer service skills for sure. He's been baiting me about what attorney I would use and when I mentioned contacting the attorney gernal's office regarding the issue he stated "Well, all they would do is send me a letter asking about the issue, and I would send one back saying your car is normal". Also said, we can fix things that are broken. Your car isn't broken, and what you want us to do is redesign it. Actually, TOM, what I would like for you to do is make my car run EXACTLY like it did when i bought it. If this car had a transmission that felt like it was slipping and making these awful grinding sounds, and jolting when trying to accelerate after coming to a complete stop when I first bought this car I would have NEVER bought it. Tom gave me the Ford Customer service number as he made it sound like it was an option for Ford to buy back my car. He later told me it would be less "emtional" for me if I just traded it in. Less emtional for who? I did contact Ford as I don't want to just trade in this car. Why would I want some other person to buy this car that I just traded in to have the same exact issues I have had? All I am asking is for Ford buy it back. After calling the actual FORD company, they assigned a regional manager to my case. His name is Jim Willard. I thought Tom could work on his customer service skills, but Jim is by far the most rude, arrogant, ill mannered man I have ever spoken to. Before I had a chance to say anything other than hello, he went on a 2 minute rant and never even asked or verified my concerns. He immediately said my car wasn't going to be available for a buy back. So glad Ford go him involved. He was very helpful. Please note the sarcasm. He did offer me some free oil changes and what not. Too bad it wasn't a new transmission he offered. I hope someone reads this and is saved the hassle and constant INCONVENIENCE that buying these types of cars with these transmissions in it have caused. Also, if Tom Wood and Ford thinks this review is bad, I've got many more I'm ready to write. I've never been so disappointed in a car and in a company in my entire life. Shame on you and this defective product. If this is happening to you, be aggressive and let them know you're not going away. I will be telling everyone I know to BEWARE! More
