I bought a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2 weeks ago from Kelley Buick GMC. It still has 6,000 miles before the factory bumper to bumper warranty expires. I called Thunder Chrysler and spoke with service adv Kelley Buick GMC. It still has 6,000 miles before the factory bumper to bumper warranty expires. I called Thunder Chrysler and spoke with service advisor Jose to schedule an appointment for the following Wednesday at 8am. The scheduling process was done over text and i provided all of the information about the vehicle including the 3 simple issues needing attention. 1. The key fob is missing the backup key metal cap. 2. The driver and passenger seat belts retract half the time. 3. The steering wheel is contacting the steering wheel column shroud and makes a scratching noise every time you take a turn. 1. I show up today and go over the issues with Jose and ask him about the key fob. He tells me it has to be ordered and a new key has to be cut. I tell him this is not a problem to get me a quote on what a new key would cost. 2. We walk out to the vehicle and i show him the seat belt issue and he tells me I have "lazy seat belts". 3. He shuts the door and listens to my steering wheel making noise as you turn the wheel. We finalize the vehicle drop off and he tells me "dont call me because i never answer please just text me if you need anything" not a problem i prefer to text. I text him at 2:30 asking the status of the vehicle and if it would be ready that day for pickup. He eventually responds with "yes" and i asked what time they close "We close at 6. you have until 5:30". So i get a friend to leave work early and drive me over to the thunder dealership. I arrive at 5:00 and as i walk in the door Jose says "your car isn't ready i told you i would call you". At this point I realized I was dealing with a very confused individual. I tell him he had just texted me to come pick up my car. He responds with " i thought you were some one else". Not a problem until he proceeds to tell me nothing was done to my car. Nothing has been fixed and the warranty does not cover fixing the seat belts. He says "your seat belts are working so Chrysler will not cover the replacement" He changed his tune from earlier that morning and basically didn't care. I asked him about the price of the key fob cap and he says " I didn't have time to look it up" I ask him how much it would cost to have the seat belts repaired and he says "I don't know". The steering wheel needs a new clock spring but I would have to bring it back to following day. I am already stranded there with no transportation and I scheduled this appointment for a reason, I don't have much time on my hands but Jose did an amazing job at wasting my time. No communication about the status of my vehicle, he did not prepare any quotes or spend any time looking up prices. No apology for making me drive there for a vehicle that wasn't ready. I left with my vehicle in the same exact condition it was when I dropped it off. WASTE OF MY TIME. I don't have time for people or businesses who waste my time so I left and drove down about two blocks and pulled into Kelley Buick GMC. Spoke with the owner and he told me they would fix all of the issues with my Jeep for free. Let me make this clear, a non Jeep dealer who has no obligation to fix this vehicle is going to fix everything for free, I was willing to pay thunder for the repairs but Jose was so confused he couldn't even close a deal. So to close out this review, be careful with this dealership, it looks very nice and pretty on the outside but they don't care about their customers. They don't care about your time and my time is money. I texted Jose and told him kelley buick gmc was going to fix the problems and he responded with "ok, no problem". I got my car back today. In my 86 years, traveling all over this country and others, I have never been treated as well as the employees of Thunder Chrysler treat me. As a woman there are often several strikes against you , through no fault of your own, when you go to a dealership. 1. It is often presumed you are ignorant. 2. You do not make “car” decisions for your family. 3. Car vernacular is foreign to you so you won’t understand. Well not so much today maybe but at Thunder. Not at all. The service manager has my heart and Louis, Broderick, Denisa and every one treats the patrons with extreme courtesy. Let me tell you the sales team is great too. I bought my car from them and their finance guy, Bob, speaks a really understandable English, no talking over you. I’ve been a customer since October 2014 and, although I have a Chrysler dealer three miles from my house I drive all the way to Bartow because I like these guys. More

Arsenio and his team regularly watch over me. I especially want to thank: Arsenio, Broderick, Louis, Denisa and Clint with whom I have had conversations on this last visit. Now, they still have my car. But it’s like a severe medical condition and though they have a diagnosis they’ve had a hard time finding the cause. I am sure this has caused them untold hours of digging and I am also very sure they will give me my car back in a most satisfactory condition.
