I have been a loyal Honda owner for over 20 years and I was a bit nervous to make a change to another brand. But, after driving the SUV and working w/Vince, I was convinced this was the best choice I could make. I was also very pleased about their service warranty and look forward to many happy years and memories in my new vehicle. (Also - a BUNCH of bonus points for Spencer, the dealership dog!! Excellent Service! I purchased my Jetta nearly 4 years ago at Three Rivers from Tim Bombash. The sales experience was A+. Tim was knowledgeable and not pushy. He answered all of my questions and made the sales process super easy.I have been using the service department exclusively. The service department is top notch! Steve McHenry came to the rescue and tightened a windshield wiper bolt on my daughter's car when she was picking me up! He went above and beyond. Her car was not purchased at Three Rivers and is not even a VW! She and I were stunned and so thankful as the wiper stopped working during a snowy day! When my car needed to remain at the shop all day and I did not have a ride to pick up my car by closing, Ben Rush (a mechanic) picked me up at my home! Ben is a nice young man! It was a much appreciated convenience for me and I enjoyed talking with Ben. I always get a follow up call regarding my service from Carol. I usually wait for my car to be serviced and I appreciate that they are always keeping me up to date on the progress. The newer express service has been extremely helpful for me. I love the fact that my car is always sparkling clean when I leave! I always tell my friends about the excellent service at Three Rivers! Thank you! More

One of the worst cars I've ever owned, The sales experience with Don Thompson was pretty good (last June). As time has gone on I've come to realize that our 2011 VW Jetta Sportswagen is ju The sales experience with Don Thompson was pretty good (last June). As time has gone on I've come to realize that our 2011 VW Jetta Sportswagen is just a really bad car. And our couple of dealing with the service department has shown them to be condescending and arrogant. (Anything that goes wrong with a VW MUST be the driver's fault, because there seems to be no way that it could really be the magnificent car.) We had heard such great things about the service department, most of which seems to have been inaccurate. Among other things - I had problems with an over sensitive wiper control. It barely needed touched and it would turn on, and it would bounce back and forth when you tried to turn it off. Got it checked once, and was pretty much told it was me, not the car. I was promised a loaner - but was blown off and not given one. Later, in my efforts to turn off the wiper I broke the arm (that one was my fault). I asked the service adviser if there was a cheaper way of fixing it, and he told me he would check on it. Never heard from him again. So I took it somewhere else - and guess what. The new arm control takes a firmer touch to move. I can't turn it on by brushing it with my coat sleeve anymore. (Which shows that my original complaint, which you blew me off for, was legit.) No power. Mileage that's not much better than the minivan we used to have. Worst snow handling car I've ever driven in my life. Not even close. Ford Escorts were light years better in the snow. I will never, ever consider buying a VW again. Neither will my kids (who are approaching driving age). Can't wait until I can afford to trade this in for something else. Anything else has to be better. At least it starts, I guess. More
