Tried to Rip Us Off We were very disappointed with the service that we received from this dealership. First off, I left several messages with the service adviser and nev We were very disappointed with the service that we received from this dealership. First off, I left several messages with the service adviser and never got a call back. I eventually just made an appointment to take the car in. We needed a gear-shift issue and state inspection. We were told that the pivot plate had corroded and were given a quote of $440 to clean it, $850 if parts were broken and needed to be replaced. We decided not to have the work done there. We took the car to a transmission place and they diagnosed the problem and repaired it for less than $100. We were also told that our vehicle would not pass inspection due to three of the wheels being severely bent and the presence of an oil leak in the vacuum pump. Quotes were $1100 + to replace the wheels and $1000 + to fix the vacuum pump. We decided not to have the work done there. Called our regular repair shop to get quotes and they informed us that wheel condition is not a factor in the state inspection. Also found out we could replace the wheels (parts and labor) for around $400. The vacuum pump is another story. Come to find out that there is no vacuum pump in the vehicle, except for in the brake system. If it were leaking, it would be leaking brake fluid (which is was not), not oil. We have had similar issues with this dealership in the past when we have taken the car for inspection. However, I do not anticipate having difficulty with them in the future, as we will not be taking our car back there for any type of service. On the bright side, Jaime was very courteous. More
