I have delt with The Frederick Motor Company over 20 years. I have purchased 7 new vehicles and 5 used from them. Every vehicle that I have purchased has been serviced by them. Not all of my purchase have been their top of the line vehicle but I have always been treated as if I was there most important customer. My salesman Walter Smith is a great asset to this company. He has always followed up after he has sold me a new vehicle to make sure that everything is going well and if he sees me when in for service he always takes the time to stop and ask how I am doing. We needed a new car and were almost immediately greeted by Eric White who was friendly and helpful in finding the right car for us. Eric was very knowledgeable about the inventory and found another car of the same model with fewer features that met our needs and our price requirements. I had a great experience shopping for my new Ford Escape. I knew the style and color I was looking for and I when I didn't find the one I wanted in the parking lot, Rick came out and greeted me and took me I knew the style and color I was looking for and I when I didn't find the one I wanted in the parking lot, Rick came out and greeted me and took me inside to search the inventory. In no time at all, he was able to pull around front the exact style (extended sun roof) I was looking for, in the right color, plus it had even more features than I was looking for. I really feel I got a very modern vehicle for a very fair price. Rick was great to work with, and he was very knowledgeable about every detail of the car. He really took his time and was patient in explaining the technology features of the SUV and assured me if I have any questions about it, to just call or stop by and he or one of the staff members would be sure to assist me. Rick even introduced me to the service team members I would be dealing with when I called in for routine service. Wow, what customer service! Keith in finance was also very informative and helpful and I feel he really did a great job getting me the best finance deal. The dealership personnel were all very courteous and friendly throughout my visit. At no time did anyone pressure me to purchase other products (warranties, etc). They made it clear what what products were available, but there was no high pressure sales tactics. It was a very good Dealer experience with friendly knowledgeble people. It was the best new car buying experience I have had by far (going back to 1988). More

Eric was an absolute pleasure to work with when we bought our Subaru Forester yesterday. He was informative and friendly, and was not pushy. The negotiation regarding price was never unpleasant and I never felt uncomfortable with the process. Eric was with us through every step of the purchasing process and we felt very comfortable working with him. As a woman, one of the things that I really appreciated with Eric is that since he knew that it was going to be MY car, he took my questions seriously and answered ME I've dealt with other car dealers in the past (not at Frederick Motor Company) who kept talking to my husband about the features of the car and pretty much ignored me.
