Went online and sent emails through phil but ended up setting an appointment with curtis. Sat for 45 minutes while they drew up a contract for the wrong car! then was told that they would only give me ha setting an appointment with curtis. Sat for 45 minutes while they drew up a contract for the wrong car! then was told that they would only give me half the value that my car was worth, take that amount off an overpriced hail damaged vehicle, then tacked the amount I owed for my car back on the loan making it over $20,000 for a used, hail damaged vehicle. I was lied to about the interest rate as he did not shop around like he told my husband he had done and when presented with an interest rate and loan offer that we had gotten approved for ourselves, he automatically figured that he would max out the cost of the vehicle that we wanted in order to maximize his profits. In the end, this guy would have gotten my car for free! still overcharge me for a used hail damaged vehicle, plus make me still pay for my car all over again by putting the payoff amount right back into the loan! this guy must have thought we were ignorant. Bottom line.... they could have had a check written to them monday morning for $16,500 for a used hail damaged vehicle plus had my car to resell and make another $6,000 + or - on my terms of the agreement. Everyone recommends Phil but unfortunately phil never came forward to help out in the situation and Mr. Spencer lost a sale for his Dealership. Good Luck if you wanna shop here!!! More
My husband and I knew we were going to be shopping for a vehicle, and had one or two stops to make. This dealer was not one of our planned stops . . . but will be our only stop from now on! We had just been told that the type of vehicle we wanted in the price range we could afford was not possible by another dealer just down the road. Curtice not only listened to our self-imposed restrictions (without seeming to look 'down' on us for not being willing/able to spend more, a BIG plus to his credit) but took the time to narrow the field of options down to only those that would fit said restrictions. He did not try to convince us to spend more, he did not try to get us to 'fall in love' with a vehicle we couldn't afford . . . none of the usual problems people seem to have when buying a vehicle. Finance got us a great deal, and the process did not take all day! We have already started recommending these great folks, and will continue to do so! More

They gave me an awesome price for my trade and I was soon out the door. Not only that but I also looked at a 2007 Chevy Tahoe on their pre-owned lot. Curtice personally drove the tahoe to my home,(which was 45 miles away) so my wife could look at it. Then proceeded to take care of the paperwork from my kitchen table! I have bought many new vehicles in the past and can tell you some horror stories. I will be buying in the future from this dealer and would be more than happy to recommend them to my friends and family. 5 STARS doesn't even begin to rate my experience. I have never been treated so rudely in all my life by a store manager! I had to leave my truck over night for service and when I got home with it the next day I had a very deep scratch in my passenger door store manager! When I told them about the manager basically called me a liar saying that it never happened there and refused to take care of it. I know that there was no scratch when I brought it in to them on Monday morning and I took it right home without stopping anywhere else the next day only to find this nasty gouge on my passenger door. I find it unacceptable that a manager would stand there and tell me that it never happened in his garage because no one told him about it therefore I wasn't telling the truth. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone looking for service as they do not care about the vehicles that are left in charge of and will not repair the damages that are incurred while in their care! Whatever happened to customer service?? More
I would now recommend this dealership only if you deal with Mr. Phil Smith. I had a bad experience with a sales representative from this dealership, and I was going to write off the whole dealership. However, I gave it one more chance, Mr. Smith was the person that I spoke to, and he changed my perspective of this dealership. I will continue dealing with Texas Dodge as long as Mr. Smith is there, his honesty and integrity is rare in that line of work that I have found. If he says he can do it, it will be done. He is up front with the price and there were no surprises at the signing table. I knew what I had to bring and we did not play that game (let me see what the manager will do ETC…) I hate that game. Next year or so I will be purchasing another vehicle for my wife and he is the person I will trust my business to. Joe W More
