The team at Texan are great! Cordat was great and answered any questions I had during my purchase process. The sales manager, Will, was excellent and cares about his customers. Cordat was great and answered any questions I had during my purchase process. The sales manager, Will, was excellent and cares about his customers. The finance manager, William, was not like a normal F&I manager; he was honest and wanted to make the process quick. This was my first purchase with Texan but I can guarantee I will purchase future vehicles here as well. More
Would have loved a zero star option. Texan Dodge sold a car to me which they had previously fraudulently sold to a thief who had stolen someone's identity to make the purchase. The thief then performed maj car to me which they had previously fraudulently sold to a thief who had stolen someone's identity to make the purchase. The thief then performed major modifications on the car. Texan Dodge did not disclose this information to me prior to my purchase of the vehicle and I only caught them in their deception because I found the receipts for the alterations inside the car, as well as the Texas Buyer's Tag Receipt with someone else's name on it, not mine. Texan Dodge took advantage of me as a female buyer; they sold a used, modified, altered, and stolen car to me as "brand new," and they refused to accept responsibility for their manipulative and dishonest tactics in selling this vehicle to me. In the sale of my Challenger, Texan Dodge omitted and misrepresented material facts regarding my vehicle; I suffered a financial loss as a result; and I would not have purchased the vehicle if I was aware of the material facts at issue. I have contacted the FTC, Texas DPS, Dodge Corporation, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. If you are at Texan Dodge in the market for a 2021 Dodge Challenger WB 392 SRT ScatPack (granite in color) with about ~2500 miles on it, be sure to crawl under it to see if it has a muffler delete and ask for an inspection report which was completed AFTER these mods were performed on 1/18/22. Also check exhaust, suspension, and the legality of the window tint, which was not done by the dealership. Lee lied to me about every aspect of this transaction, which I canceled and still have not received the written confirmation of cancelation which I requested. More

Bought 2 Rams ($110+K) on April 4th. STILL waiting on the license plates 4 MONTHS LATER. Delays: Dealer failed to get the weigh tickets prior to sale. I had to take both trucks for weigh tickets and then de license plates 4 MONTHS LATER. Delays: Dealer failed to get the weigh tickets prior to sale. I had to take both trucks for weigh tickets and then deliver to the dealer. Was asked for the weigh tickets a week after I hand delivered them. Sent photos of each truck 3 times and asked a 4th time for them. I continue to badger the dealer for replacement temp tags every time they expire. When advised the plates had finally arrived the dealer agreed to overnight them. I confirmed I wanted them overnighted (it's an hour drive to the dealership). The dealer says the tags were overnighted via UPS Tuesday, then said they were overnighted Wednesday and then Thursday swore they had "just" been picked up by UPS and guaranteed they would arrive by 4:00 Friday. Here it is Friday and UPS tracking has no record of receiving them. Had to request copies of closing documents for 1 of the trucks multiple times. Finally received after 2.5 months. I purchase fleet trucks for our business frequently and this experience was a huge disappointment. I won't be back and warn everyone to stay away from this dealership. More
This dealer is full of gimmicky sales tactics to make you think you’re getting a deal when you’re really getting raked over the coals. I’ve called to inquire about the same vehicle no less than three times i think you’re getting a deal when you’re really getting raked over the coals. I’ve called to inquire about the same vehicle no less than three times in the last week. I finally was able to get someone to return my call on the final try, and only three hours after I was told they’d call right back. When they called back they told me the vehicle (which was still showing as “in transit” on the manufacturer website and the dealer website) had just rolled off the trailer straight from the manufacturer right before they called. They didn’t know at that time I was hoping to find one that would arrive in a day or two so I could hammer out all the details over messaging, put a deposit down, avoid all the aftermarket dealer haggling over stupid stuff and have a streamlined purchasing process once the car arrived. It’s not the first time I’ve done this and my parent sold cars for a living for awhile, so I am aware of a lot of the little sales tricks and like to avoid them as I generally find them demeaning and irritating. Back to the call - the salesman even said he watched them unload it. I was then quoted a price of 3k over msrp when the vehicle was being advertised online for 4K under msrp. After I sent a screenshot of the price on their website, the salesman confirmed they “would honor” the price, but then attempted to explain that there was going to be a $3k up charge added back on to the advertised, discounted price. He attempted to explain the $3k was for “aftermarket” items the dealer added (like nitrogen, wheel locks, tint, and some sort of other anti theft whatever - not $3k worth of gimmicks for sure - nitro runs $10-20/tire, wheel locks can be purchased for $20-50, tint for two windows is about $150-200 maybe, and you can get an anti-theft device or gps tracker with an app for about ~50). When I explained that I didn’t want any of those items for the quoted price as there was no way they were worth anywhere near $3k (even after a substantial markup), I was told they could not be taken off despite the assertion that the vehicle had literally just rolled off the trailer less than an hour before. I asked him to have his sales manager call me. I didn’t tell him that I was tired of the games already. I did promptly get a call from someone who said they were “one of the managers”. I was then told that the advertised $4k discount off msrp was to “help make up” for the cost of the dealer add-ons even that was not mentioned on the dealers site. When I pointed that the up charges were not anywhere on the website, I was told that if I’d come into the dealership, I’d have seen *their* window sticker that listed the aftermarket up charge (nevermind the one published online by both the manufacturer and dealer). They also attempted to explain that the salesman initially misspoke and instead the car was delivered to a different site the day before and had all those after market items added there and then was brought to this location today. Which might make sense, but again, remember that “in transit” part of the website. The manufacturer says their site updates each night, so if the car was delivered yesterday, it would have listed as “on dealer lot” today. Too bad they abruptly ended the conversation before I could share that tid bit of information. Bottom line, the dealer ended the conversation on their own terms and ultimately lost a sale. They also engaged in deceptive advertising practices that could land them in hot water with the FTC. Most people don’t know it, but the FTC requires advertisements to include, and disclose in full, the price a consumer can expect to pay for a product. That pricing disclosure is supposed to be honest and include any discounts, sales, markdowns that apply to the product’s sales price. For what it’s worth, the FTC also says the old bait and switch tactic is deceptive and illegal. Save your $$ and find a dealer that isn’t shady. More
