Called from Rick Hendrick Fayetteville NC dealership and spoke with Anas about a car that was showing in his inventory. Gave him the stock number and he said it was available. I told him I would start drivi spoke with Anas about a car that was showing in his inventory. Gave him the stock number and he said it was available. I told him I would start driving there and would arrive at 1:30pm. Drove the 2 hours drive and arrived exactly at 130pm. Gave my name and said I had an appt with Anas at 130pm. I sat down and was told by another salesman that the car was already sold. I was shocked. I asked where Anas was and told them I just drove from Fayetteville NC. Anas showed and I asked what happened, he knew I was driving from Fayetteville and said that the car got sold. I asked why didn't he call me and he said he did 2 times and got no answer. I looked thru my phone and showed him there was no missed calls or voice messages. I told him this is ridiculous and waste of my time, Anas said that things happen like this and responded there was another Avenger similar to the one I wanted and he said the salesman can show it to me and maybe get it down to my price range I needed. Anas then left me with this other guy who said that if had put a $500 deposit on the previous car this could have been avoided. I told him that Anas never mentioned ANYTHING about a security/holding deposit or I would of. The second car shown wouldn't start because the salesman said it was out of gas. He did let me sit in it. He couldn't lower the price to the range I needed, so I left and drove the 2 hours back home. I just found the whole experience rude and disappointing. The salesman Anas, when he looked up the car originally, should have mentioned the $500 deposit fee, which I would have paid, so my commute there would have had the vehicle I was interested in, at least available for me to look at. Very poor business skills of Anas. Waste of 4 hours of my day. More

Lack of transparency. Had a vehicle listed on their site for $18,728 after incentives and rebates. When I get there the salesman, Jacob, was super friendly and helpful so I had some hope. Test drove the veh for $18,728 after incentives and rebates. When I get there the salesman, Jacob, was super friendly and helpful so I had some hope. Test drove the vehicle and said if we could get the numbers right I'd be happy to do business with them. He goes to talk to the sales manager and comes back with a paper saying the bottom line was right around $37000! I knew going in I was upside down on my trade, and the listed price didn't include tags/tax/title/fees/etc...but to jump up almost $20,000??? Then I talked with Mike, who I asked to explain to me why there was such a huge difference. They lowballed the xxxx out of my trade and I was told that I didn't qualify for the "best rebates" AND the best rates. So still wanting to make a deal I told him my absolute max I was willing to pay and showed him what I was looking at to come up with "my numbers". He comes back and says they can get a better idea of real numbers if they submit a credit app...okay sure go ahead. Comes back saying ABSOLUTE best he could get my payments at was $485/mo, bottom line was still over $30000...okay thank you for looking, but thats way too much. So as Im waiting to get my keys back and about to walk out, Mike tells me they're waiting on one last bank, maybe they can get a better rate...give them 5 more minutes to check. So he come back with payments of $438/mo at 84 months after I told him my budget was maxed out at $410/mo...okay we're close. So I ask AGAIN for him to explain the numbers and explain the bottom line, which was around $29,800 if I remember right. Mike told me again that there were rebates listed on the website that they couldn't put in the deal, and he asked again how I got the numbers I believed to be fair. When I told him I calculated a $5000 negative equity with my trade (which was what it came to after I called them out for lowballing) and an APR of 6%...he stopped and said "oh you didn't qualify for 6% APR". Funny how when I ran the math at that price, with the term quoted, at 6%APR, i got EXACTLY 438/mo. He also said he was already losing money on this deal and this was the ABSOLUTE best offer. Okay, I dont know any dealership who sells something for a loss...you listed this vehicle for $11000 under MSRP...but then say some rebates didn't qualify for the deal. Offered me $3000 less than fair market value for my trade, and seemed to throw in a lot of "extras". Okay whatever I left and no more than 5 minutes, Jacob calls me back saying they have a certified pre-owned that they could do a deal on to get my payment right. I told him about my conversation with Mike and him saying I didn't qualify for 6% APR...then asked what the rate I got approved for was since Mike NEVER SHOWED ME THAT NUMBER! He said he didn't know, and he would ask then call me back. Guess who's still waiting on a call back...Overall I felt like I went with reasonable expectations on my payment/term/rate based on my research. But it feels like I got the bait and switch. Especially since Mike never told my what the bank approved or explained how the bottom line jumped so high. Especially since they claimed all these rebates applied to the vehicle online then said they didn't in person. I get it, dealerships are in the business of making as much money as possible. But if this is the way they do business I want no part of it. Again, Jacob was super helpful and I dont fault him for his manager and finance guys being shady. Huge waste of time just to get the normal dealership run around. The only reason I'm not 1 starring everything is Jacob seeming like a decent salesman and at least acting like he was trying to help me out. More

THIS WAS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE!!!! First off to start we have been through the car buying experience 4-6 times as we change our cars every few years, and have NEVER w EXPERIENCE!!!! First off to start we have been through the car buying experience 4-6 times as we change our cars every few years, and have NEVER walked out of a dealership in such disgust as we did today! We had an appointment and were called to be informed that the vehicle we were interested was pulled up and waiting for our arrival. Which it was not, the gentlemen we were supposed to work with was more concerned about the other customer he had just began to help when we arrived. We were pawned off on a young gentleman named DeAndre or DeAnthony or something like that. Who did not seem to belong in the customer service industry as his personality was unprofessional and he couldn’t answer simple questions about the vehicle. He seem to be too busy with wanting to chat and joke with his co workers and have his customers sit at a desk and wait. It was always a disappearing act. When we requested our key back for the car we were going to trade in he sent another person out to try to talk to us and get us to stay. When you are in a glass office employees should realize that customers can tell your talking about them and they can see you. The gentleman that was helping us when we showed him a vehicle that stated was ON the lot By the website told us that car was not on the lot and did not offer to ship it like the lady on the phone we had talked to earlier stated could be done. We will NEVER RETURN to this dealership even if they offered us a FREE vehicle. If negative stars could be given they would. Update: We went to another dealership a day later and walked out with a brand new SUV! Note to your employees be respectful to your customers and you won’t lose a sale! More
Don’t waste your time. Internet price are misleading! Went from virginia 5 hours drive to buy the truck that was listed online on cargurus and on their website. Called 1 week before and talk misleading! Went from virginia 5 hours drive to buy the truck that was listed online on cargurus and on their website. Called 1 week before and talked to (Danny) their internet sales everyday for a week. I gave her the stock number and asked for out of door price, she checked all the insensitive that i am qualified for and she gave me the out of door price. She also promised that there will be no other surprising extra amount. Drove there on (dec 17 2019 again 5 hours drive) As soon as we enter the dealer we were told that sale person James will take care of us. Danny also came and said Hi 👋 to us, I told Danny to make sure I get the price she promised us. She even said the they will do even better than that. Did a test drive and our sales guy James got the out of door price which was 4k higher that what we were promised. I told James about the conversation I had with Danny.. He went to check with his manager and came back and said ‘ Oh! Today is Tuesday and Danny is off) BIG LIE he didn’t know that Danny came 5 minutes before him and said Hi to us which we told him and he was surprised he knew that he got caught... He went to talk to his sales manager forgot his name.. Now he came and said that he will checked with Danny, he went inside talked to Danny and he also listened to our phone conversation that was recorded and verified that Danny promised that out of door price. Now the manager came back and told us that he can’t do that price. I explained him why we drove 5 hours and what we were promised for. And the Sales Manager answer was ( We are in business and business makes mistakes) WOW!! What an answer from manager. What a service !! That time I realized that they fooled us we were not the only costumer, there were other 3 peoples having the same issue. I ended up buying another truck since i had no option. What a business strategy put the online price that looks cheaper than in any dealer promise them with the 1 out the door price call the costumers in store and tell them business makes mistakes and they can’t do that price. Long story short their online prices are not true its always $10k more when you go there to buy same stock number truck. (NEVER TRUST WHAT THEY SAY OVER THE PHONE THEY ARE TRAINED TO LIE TO THEIR COSTUMERS) and the worst costumer service you will get. No respect towards costumers, no politeness. Indirectly they are like if you want to buy this is the actual price or leave. Don’t know how far they will go doing this. Owned Toyota, Nissan and Mercedes Benz, did not have this kind of worst experience in any dealership... very disappointed 😔 More
