Service could not find the problem and wanted to charge me nearly $1400 to tear down the transmission. I pulled the vehicle immediately; it was subsequently repaired for $120. The problem: the cable needed lubrication. Really, TLC? No tender loving care here. If you need service, BEWARE! They were more interested in selling me a car than repairing the vehicle I already have. Makes me think about the last time I was there, and they charged me almost $900 for something that was not repaired when I got the vehicle back. More
Hands down best sales staff I have ever encountered I should be thanking you Mr. Bogdan for not selling me a vehicle but for providing me with with an incredible experience. Your staff is THE most co I should be thanking you Mr. Bogdan for not selling me a vehicle but for providing me with with an incredible experience. Your staff is THE most courteous team I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I am a first time out of state car buyer and they answered every question and put any doubts to ease. No dealership in Texas has treated me with such professionalism and conduct that has been exhibited by the staff at Terry Labonte Chevrolet. To name a few stars, Kevin was always with me every step of the car buying process, he was always prompt with paperwork and packaging options. Myra the receptionist always made me feel as though my phone calls are welcome with her cheery demeanor and wonderful etiquette. Reggie with his punctuality. Now on to the star of this experience, the best salesman I have had the pleasure of working with, Caleb Gorrell. This man is a force to be reckoned with, he kept me well informed, never made me feel any pressure and provided information then followed through. Caleb always maintained contact and has gone above and beyond what I have ever experienced in the Texas automobile market. Hands down Caleb has influenced my decision to only deal with Terry Labonte for all my Chevrolet purchases and to avoid all Texas dealerships from now on. Caleb, is he even a man or some sort of sales god personified? This car buying experience was all incredibly positive and I can't wait to share my experience with everyone I know. There's a reason why the initials for this dealership are TLC, tender loving care and they proved it to me. -Sincerely, Michael Anthony Marrero More

Great experience at Terry Labonte Chevrolet Jose was really great to work with. From the moment we entered Terry Labonte Chevrolet , Jose handled us with great care and patience. He was very kn Jose was really great to work with. From the moment we entered Terry Labonte Chevrolet , Jose handled us with great care and patience. He was very knowledgeable and was able to provide clear answers to everything we asked. He put all our concerns at ease as we continued through the buying process. He even made sure to stay with us from the beginning to the end even making sure that I knew how to properly use my car before I drove off. He was personable and very welcoming which made my dad and I very comfortable to continue working with him. Then we got to work with LJ the Finance Manager and he made it seem like he was working for us, the customer, instead of being focused on the sale and bringing money in for TLC - that made the experience the best service I have ever received from a Finance Manager . I would definitely recommend buying a car with Terry Labonte Chevrolet and requesting Jose ! Thanks again for your help Jose & LJ ! More
10 Star Company for sure! I am not one to take time to write reviews but this company is well deserving... After less than expected purchase experiences at another "highly rated" dealership, I made a change and began a new relationship with Terry Labonte Chevrolet. I have since purchased several vehicles form this company and I have never before experienced the high level of professionalism and quality service that I do here. The sales staff is always friendly, cheerful, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They make me feel at home! I have all of my service work done here too and I always receive the same level of professionalism and knowledge from the service team as I do from the sales department. I have recommended many friends and family to use Terry Labonte Chevrolet who are also now doing business here with the same level of service. We have found a service provider for life! And Chevrolet, your products rock!! More
Military Discount I am in the market for a new vehicle. They are advertising a Military discont for current military members and veterens. It advertised great incentive I am in the market for a new vehicle. They are advertising a Military discont for current military members and veterens. It advertised great incentives and discounts until the end of June. I went to find out ho much this would add up to. First, the salesman did not know anything about the program and had to lead me inside where he had to ask another person about this. He should have been knowledgeable enough to tell me right there. Once inside, the GM told me it was about $3500 off the price and depending on credit score a possible 2.9% finance rate since there were no specials on that. The add clearly stated that the Military appriciation affected the price and financing. I called another dealership and found out that this was a joke. Right off the bat, I was offered $6k off the price and 1.9% finance rate without any haggling. Terry Laborite you lost a $60k sale! More
Poor Service Department or Non-service Dept is better desc. Purchased my car from there. Horrible service. Never could pick me up on time, never communicated any issues with me even though they had my car all d Purchased my car from there. Horrible service. Never could pick me up on time, never communicated any issues with me even though they had my car all day. Not friendly at all like dealing with a robot. Things were overlooked during the service. Little issues like air valves being left off. etc. Was originally told by salesmen since I love out of town I could bring the car the night before and get a loaner car as long as its scheduled. They never remember that conversation. after a yr of fighting with them decided to change to another dealership and so glad I did. More
Classic example of how to lose a customer My wife and I both own GM products purchased from this dealership. My wife HAD an 2011 Equinox LT. After 18 trips to the service bay over 3 years we d My wife and I both own GM products purchased from this dealership. My wife HAD an 2011 Equinox LT. After 18 trips to the service bay over 3 years we decided to cut our losses and trade. We found a one year old GMC Terrain on the lot with a 6 cylinder engine (The 4 cylinder in her Equinox was the bane of our existence). The salesman, Joey Zemola, offered us $12K for the Equinox and discounted the Terrain $230! We explained our "pain and suffering" thru the ordeal of owning the Equinox and he suggested we contact GM directly to see if we could get a better deal. We then reached out via phone to the Sales Manager, Eric Sharaba. After playing phone tag he agreed to phone us back after he finished with one last client. we're still waiting a week later!! After a combined 30 years of loyalty, including regular service on our vehicles during that time we have been ignored for the final time. We have chosen a new vehicle, not from the GM stable, for my wife and dumped the LEMON Equinox. Future service on my Terrain will be done at a certified NON- GM service group, and when we change from it we will NOT consider GM. More
Transmission problems very poor customer service My husbands Colorado started having transmission problems. We right away made the appointment to bring it in. Mind you it is only three years old. W My husbands Colorado started having transmission problems. We right away made the appointment to bring it in. Mind you it is only three years old. We dropped the vehicle off being told we would get a call by 11:00 am. At 1:00 I valled and got told that some screws were loose and a bolt was missing from the transmission oil pan therefore it is human error and the transmission is shot but will not be covered by warranty. When I asked to speak to the manager of service he answered the phone "yeah what is it?" When we get to the dealership the manager was rude told us that whoever worked on the truck in the past few weeks did this. I explain we didn't have work done. He than says well you all just of done it. Than says if you didn't do it than call your insurance company and tell them someone vandalized the vehicle. Long story short my husband went off on the guy at that point. We than file a complaint with GM. GM said they would make a decision in 48 hours and get back to us. After three days I get a call telling me they can't make that decision there I have to take it to another dealership and that we are no longer wanted or allowed to go Terry Labonte. Keep in mind over the years I have bought three different vehicles there. We were also told the bolts had wrench marks on them. When we got home my husband went under the truck and a we took pictures showing there was no wrench marks on the visible bolts. When we were there they said they took pictures of the bolts and they showed us a far away picture that you could not tell what it was. Extremely poor customer service and what I feel is a scam to not cover the transmission under warranty. The service man said it was not that because they don't pay for it. When I spoke to GM come to find out the dealership gets quotas and marks against them for warranty issues etc..and the woman told me he basically lied about the fact it does not affect them. More
