I am very pleased with Terry Labonte’s service department. They know who you are when you arrive if you make an appointment. So don't waste your breathe in asking me how you can help because after 10 days of you trying to make it right and you couldn't do that, I'm done! With the business and Hendricks name. Please learn from my experiences. This was my first time buying a new car and I was excited. I came in and was greeted quickly and sat down. Salesman came in, we looked at multiple cars. He ask me if I would be interested in looking at the Malibu's because they had a program that could assist me in building my credit faster. (I needed to buy a car to start building credit) so I agreed to look at it. He told me the one I wanted was in the back of the shop and not ready but he could show me a car that was exactly like it. Loved it but this is where I started noticing something was off. "Why couldn't" I see the vehicle I was purchasing. I blew it off to just being uncomfortable with it being my first time. We finished the paper work. I left, in order to pick the car up at 6. When I came to pick up the vehicle, I noticed the windows were tinted, rims where different, but just felt like maybe that was taken off my package for that car.I left the lot, went straight home to further investigate my paperwork. Turns out I added the sports package and it wasn't even installed or arrangements made for that to get done. Unfortunately, it kept getting worse. (And let me remind everyone THEY SOLD ME A NEW CAR FOR FULL MSRP and over msrp with the package I added. When I started looking on the outside, there were scratches all over the paint in different places (3 deep scratches-the rest were around the door handles) decided to look inside and was shocked that my new car smelled like smoke! They tried to scent bomb the car so you couldn't notice it but it was VERY strong. Kept looking and found another item I paid for that was not installed (Mats) and that it was dirty! We were pulling trash and receipt out of the pockets and even clothes hangers and birthday cards. Needless to say I was not happy that this was the BRAND NEW car I just purchased. No one told me it was a demo car, and they told me multiple times I couldn't see the car. I called them immediately that Sunday after I purchased it and explained what happened and the manager was telling whoever I was talking to on the phone with to tell me things in response of what I would say, then ended it with all the things you are talking about where worked into the price so you got the car you paid for. (Remember I paid OVER MSRP) I hung up and decided this was going to take a trip. Went to Terry Labonte the next day on my birthday. Ask for a manager to meet us out at the car immediately. He came out and after we disclosed what happened starting making notes on what they were going to change for me. We agreed to the changes. Told me to expect 4-5 days but they would get me a rental to drive. Called 9 days later and no one knew what was going on with my vehicle. Day 10 I messaged my salesman and ask if it was ready and he said yes. I meet him at the time discussed and immediately I could tell the stuff wasn't done on my car. I could see the scratches from a distance, went and opened up the door and it still smelled like smoke and was NASTY. I ask to speak to a manager again. Mike Lee came to speak me to and ask me how we could correct the issue, I responded and told him by fixing it when I dropped it off the first time for 10 days. He treated me with such disrespect and belittled me about being upset you didn't fix my car. Told me I was talking circles and we were going to go no where because my unwillingness to let them fix it. After I left it there for 10 days. I reluctantly ask him for the service records of what was actually done to my car so we could see what was still needed and he refused that to me. Told me it was a protected document. At that I was done. I told him to either make this right, or I would get a lawyer. He instructed me I would need a good one and who I was working with was giving me bad advice. I lost my temper, he walked away and came to tell me his GM said they could cancel the deal. I told him again you can make this right or cancel the deal. He choose to cancel the deal after all the trouble I went through. Then I had to return 2 more times just to get my down deposit back that he said he couldn't give me that day (Another lie) Total BULLCRAP/LIES!!! Bad business, they DO NOT CARE TO FIX ANY OF THEIR MISTAKES. Very dishonest and would NEVER recommend ANYONE to purchase a vehicle from Terry Labonte Greensboro. More

Awesome experience working with Eddie on purchasing our new 2021 High Country. He was great to work with, wasn’t pushy, answered all of our questions, and was responsive before and after the sale; even wit new 2021 High Country. Stupidity at its best. The price was good so my racially ambiguous partner wanted to stay, but when we asked about the advertised Chevy Silverado discount and a Chevy Cash discount he not only said he didn't know about all that but they weren't gonna honor it bc they didn't have to worry about me buying a car bc 14 other ppl would be ready to buy it. BBB issued??? We went with intention to buy, 5 figure down payment and guess they didn't get the memo that #BLM... He also took the time to state he didn't care about me buying a car that he works off bulk sales, so had no intent to provide better customer service or try to offer us accessories we wanted for the mandatory 4k we were bring charged for tint we didn't want. Yes they sale a lot of cars but guess not to US! It was very clear he was waiting to sell that truck to someone that looked more like him. More
I messaged Terry Labonte Chevrolet about a used 2018 Chevrolet Camaro they had on their website. After having both verbal and text exchanges, I was assured that the car was on the lot and for sale. I scheduled a time and proceeded to drive over 3.5 hours in snow and ice to Greensboro to see this car that was priced incredibly well and also certified pre-owned. When I got to the dealership another sales associate had to work with me as Sheren was “busy” after talking with the new advisor we found out the car was in fact SOLD and had been for quite some time. Apparently Sharen had never pulled the keys to verify that the car was in stock. Word of wise if you are looking for a new or used car stay away from this dealer as their website is apparently not up to date as well as they are willing to lie to local people as well those willing to drive from out of state saying there is a car in stock, just to tell you it isn’t there and try to get you to look at something else on the lot that isn’t even in the ball park of what you want. To make matters worse, the dealer didn’t even offer to comp gas or DEF (that I had to buy from them!!) for misleading me in driving there. Horrible dealership! More
One of the more slimy dealerships of NC. Actually wasted a half a day of vacation and several hours of my life that I will never get back. After I was very clear with the person on the phone, when I got there the finance person told me the person I talked to mis-spoke. Should not have been my problem. Dealerships like this are why dealerships have such a stigma surrounding them. They weren’t born with this stigma, they earned it. This wound up being a good thing for me because a week later I went to Bill Black Chevy in Greensboro and not only did they have exactly what I wanted, but they beat the deal at Terry Labonte, plus gave me $2k more real money for my trade, and I was in and out with no shady business practices or dealer add-ons. Avoid Terry Labonte at all costs if you want the best deal and no shady shenanigans. Never again. More
Spoke with a Kreg Trexler on a Silverado they had listed online for 33k and change. Couldnt get the price confirmed at all for some reason even after asking several times. Then when I asked if they honored that price online the truck magically disappeared when the previous person I spoke to said they went out and looked at it for me lol. So either classic bait and switch or just not wanting to sell cars. But definitely know your car buying protocol before dealing with this dealership. I had financing already taken care of and told them if they can confirm this price id buy the truck now. All kreg said was “I sold one for 36k out the door the other vm day buddy” Be careful here is all I have to say. More
