Pat Cantwell, my Sales Consultant, was very courteous and knowledgeable and made sure I found exactly what I was looking for at a fair price, All of the staff were very professional and clearly explained my purchasing options without pressuring me into purchasing something I was not comfortable with. I am usually the ty Initially walking into Ted Britt, I notice a clean dealership and a young gentlemen (Martinez) ready to get me the car I came for. I am usually the type who wants a specific thing and nothing else. We battled a little bit on the trade-in value of my car, but Tedd Britt refused to to go any higher. They gave me the bottom KBB price. I know I could have went to Sheehy and got more (I bought my last car from with excellent customer service), but Sheehy did not have what I was looking for which was a Mustang Convertible with premium features. I preferred a manual transmission but was pressured into getting an automatic. That is fine, I can live. Finance process took hours. I was in the dealership from 1pm to almost 9pm. Once I worked with Linda in finance, she said they need to finalize with the bank and she will give me a call to come back in sign new documents. Ironically she said, "Stop letting people run your credit to so many banks." Unfortunately, Tedd Britt did the exact same thing. There was banks I never heard of calling me and sending me letter. Thanks Tedd Britt. Almost two weeks passed and I never heard from Linda again. Another woman contacted me asking for employment information. She said, "Oh we all sat, we just waiting for you to send those documents." Why did anyone not call me a week ago? Well I did just that and I come in a few days later to meet with Natasha the finance director. Never seen someone so young, unprofessional, and with poor customer services skills in my life. She was eating, talking to other people in the room, and did not seem customer friendly. A month later, I get a call to come pick up my spare key and complete a survey. I was pressured into completing the survey will all high marks in Martinez words, "Please make sure you mark all excellent so I won't get marked." I never give any business full remarks because there is always room to improve. I told him upfront I was not happy with the finance department, he said, "It does not matter, it comes back to me." So... you want me to lie? Right... I am not doing that. When I get there and informed him I completed the survey with honesty, he huffed (very unprofessional) and called over his sales manager to plead she speaks with me because he will loose "$100.00." I had to get to work but I was willing to give her 3 minutes. It was 3 minutes of a disaster. She sent me to Natasha only for Natasha to say, "I am "You are 110% wrong and the finance team is the best. We bring it all together." "Martinez is going to loose out on $75.00 (yes it changed from $100.00) because of you." What? You blaming your valued customer for being honest on a survey and trying to make me feel bad? I came to buy a car and not be told I am causing my sale associate money. Is he the customer or am I? It gets better, I called the general manger back to tell her how dissatisfied I was and stressed with the situation that happened. Here is some of her quotes, "99% of our customer feel those surveys out with all excellent and it works for us." "We been doing it this way for a long time and have not had a problem." "We are number one in customer services and sorry you was not one of them customer." "I will end this conversation if you not going to let me talk or threaten me (with leaving a bad review)." "I don't play those games." Wait, did not not buy a 30,000 car from you guys? With that being said, be warned most of their reviews was forced on customer so the sales rep can make money. I was expecting an apology and for them to tell me how they can improve going forward. instead they threaten to hang the phone up on me and told me I was basically the only unhappy customer and "Well you already took the survey so you cannot go back."Unbelievable. Shop at Sheehy, they gave me $9,000.00 for an older 2005 Mustang with problems and sold it on their lot for only $10,000.00. They also gave me their VIP services (oil changes and rotations) for life with no extra cost because they want me satisfied. More
