Nice People but High Pressure I was looking to buy a 2012 Ford Escape Limited. I looked online and found two I wanted to test drive. I went to Ted Britt in Fairfax first because I I was looking to buy a 2012 Ford Escape Limited. I looked online and found two I wanted to test drive. I went to Ted Britt in Fairfax first because I liked the other one better and wanted to test drive that one last. Steve helped me as soon as I parked my rental car and got me into the Escape. Right before I was going to test drive the car, he apologized and said he had to go help another customer who just bought a car put on plates. I said I understood and took the Escape out on my own, Why would you take a new customer if you were not finished with a sale, though? When I returned, Steve was still helping the other customer and my boyfriend arrived to help me check out the car. I wanted to leave to test drive the Escape in Chantilly and my boyfriend was hungry so we tried to give the key to the Escape to the sales manager, Daniel. He insisted that we should take the Escape there to go eat while he got the other Escape from the Ted Britt in Chantilly delivered. I agreed but it seemed a little desperate. We left and returned and the Escape from Chantilly was there when we arrived. We test drove it and since it was less expensive, I decided I wanted to buy that one. When we tried to negotiate an out the door price, we started at 25,000 - which was much higher than I wanted to pay, or than the car is worth. We got down to 24,000 but it seemed apparent we were not going to make it to 22,000 which is what I wanted to pay. We ended up leaving and purchasing a comparable Escape from another dealership for 21,200 out the door. More

Upon my first visit in early October, 2014 Alison Lucas met me and was very cordial. I explained what I was looking for and she introduced me to Patrick Denicola. Patrick's most outstanding trait is he listens to what the customer wants. I told him I was not in a rush to by a car. He honored that request and never tried to push me or ask the traditional question, "What would it take for us to do for you to buy a car today"? Usually when I get asked that question I depart the dealership. We talked during that first visit and we test drove Explorers and Expeditions. I went to visit other Ford Dealers in the area over the next several weeks. I kept coming back to Patrick because he showed he cared about me not just the sale. Never could find the right Explorer so I ordered a new 2015 Explorer in November 2014 through Ted Britt with Patrick. He made the process painless and kept me up to speed on the delivery schedule. When the vehicle arrived Patrick was dealing with a death in his family but took the time on Sat., 1/10/15 to come into the dealership and deliver the new Explorer to me. He and Alison were great and I will return to Ted Britt and work with them when I have a need for another vehicle. First Class performance! If you want to be treated right with no pressure go to Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax and ask for Patrick Denicola as your sales agent. You will be glad you did. More

Best dealership experience I ever had!! I work for a company that purchases many cars for work, so our company goes through many cars. But I have to say Ted Britt Ford has given me hope and joy in the car purchasing experience. The sales rep, Sean Hammond, was honest, quick, and very detailed oriented. Making the whole experience quite enjoyable. I know now where I will be purchasing my future cars! More
