To the tech manager at the Buick dealership I spoke with today. I don’t care that you took zero responsibility for what happened to my car. I don’t care that you totally belittled me. What I DO care about i today. I don’t care that you took zero responsibility for what happened to my car. I don’t care that you totally belittled me. What I DO care about is that you LAUGHED in my child’s face when I asked you to apologize to him. You’ve only worked in your field for 5 years, you don’t know as much as you think you do. You certainly shouldn’t treat customers the way you treated me. I wasn’t in there to get money, as you assumed. I was in there because your techs assumed the problem was my breaks, it wasn’t & now I have to pay $1,000+ to fix the problem when they shouldn’t have ASSumed it was my breaks. Then the GM who said he wasn’t going to apologize because he didn’t speak to kids, he was speaking to me. My child was with me & heard everything you two said. He wouldn’t stop calling himself a joke. I hope you two are happy. I wouldn’t have cared if your techs would’ve found the problem, my car was out of warranty & I had to pay the $1,000+. I brought my car to two different dealerships telling them I heard a squeaking noise. Both dealerships told me they couldn’t find the noise, it was the breaks & that my car was fine. Clearly techs at both dealerships need training on not to assume squeaking noises are break related. If you go to see a doctor & you say your abdominal are doesn’t feel well, should he just assume it’s a stomachache? No. There should be tests done to narrow down to see where the real problem is. Yes, it could be something as simple as a stomachache or it could be something serious. I may not know much about cars but I have been a nurse for 10 years & I know you don’t just assume you know what it is. You need to run tests & that is what the Alice Buick dealership did not do & refuse to acknowledge. Not only that but their customer service from the tech manager & the GM is severely lacking. I know the customer is not always right but you do not berate, laugh at or insult the customer like my son & I were. That is no way to treat customers. I have only been treated this poorly once, by the Subaru dealership in Corpus Christi & they changed owners. So obviously there was a problem there. Clearly there is a problem at the Alice Buick dealership that needs to be addressed. The way I was treated was far from okay. I was not looking for money. For two dealerships to completely ignore a major problem with my car then treat me like they did is not okay in any form or fashion. More
Satisfied Customer Service was good. Waiting was too long... Overall, I was satisfied...I expected for my vehicle to be vacuumed after oil change, etc. But they didn't. Service was good.
