Great Car Bad Dealership The Sales Manager broke a verbal contract that was made with the Sales Representative, even though we had already given a down payment and were in the The Sales Manager broke a verbal contract that was made with the Sales Representative, even though we had already given a down payment and were in the process of signing. He claimed that the Sales Rep did not have the authority to make a deal, however, the $200 difference should not have come out of our pockets through breaking a legally binding contract. We did buy the car, which seems to be a great vehicle. And although we aren't bitter about the final price, we are quite bitter about how unjustly we were treated. The Sales Rep was newly hired and although nice, clearly did not receive proper training. There was a tremendous amount of confusion on what documents needed to be sent to our bank & insurance company, and how to properly register the car in our home state of MA. The sales managers treated us as guinea pigs for this trainee to learn his trade (at our expense!). More
