After a very difficult car-shopping experience and spending hours and hours at other overpriced dealers, Northeast Kia was finally the only one able to work out a reasonable deal with me. Reggie w spending hours and hours at other overpriced dealers, Northeast Kia was finally the only one able to work out a reasonable deal with me. Reggie was fantastic, and more importantly, he got the deal done, which is what matters most. I'm a pain of a buyer to please and also had a difficult situation to navigate, but Reggie stuck with me and the finance department made it happen. After negotiations, my insurance company really dropped the ball and it took 3 hours on the phone to transfer insurance, but Reggie stayed 2 hours after closing to see me through. So props to the man. I just feel bad I kept him from other clients and possible personal engagements. He didn't complain or seem bothered, so I appreciate that. Overall, I wouldn't say this is a kiss your @$$ dealership, which I like. Not a lot of bs scripts and young, "hotshot" sales people. Just people who want to make money and get you in the car you want for a price that make sense. I would definitely recommend Northeast Kia and Reggie. More
In my time dealing with this dealership, this being my second vehicle purchased at said dealership, they have done right by me! As of this time I have no complaints what so ever. With my most recent purc second vehicle purchased at said dealership, they have done right by me! As of this time I have no complaints what so ever. With my most recent purchase I was able to do everything via phone and the car was delivered to my door step!! The salesman then returned the older vehicles back to the dealership. More
Drove a half an hour from NJ to test drive a New Kia Telluride and when I walked in the door was told by Reggie before we get started I want to be up front and let you know they being sold for “premium” Telluride and when I walked in the door was told by Reggie before we get started I want to be up front and let you know they being sold for “premium” pricing. I inquired and he informed that due to the high demand for the vehicle they were adding $8000 to the sticker price of the vehicle!!! This was after going back and forth on the phone for an hour with “Karen” who never informed me of this policy prior to arriving. This is a horrible business practice in my opinion and text book price gouging!! My next call will be to the NY consumer affairs division. More

I called about a 2013 Nissan Rogue for my son and spoke to someone named Kimini. I told her that I was coming from about 2 hours away and I didn't want any surprises when I got there. I know how these dealerships operate and I specifically asked her what fees they charge above and beyond the advertised price. She said tax, title, and registration - no addition fees. GREAT! So I made an appointment for the next morning and my son and I made the trip up. When we got there we were greeted by Reggie who then told me that the car we were interested in wasn't ready to be sold because it needed a transmission. That was the first problem. But he assured me they were going to replace the transmission. OK - I'm still interested. He then told me about what he called a mandatory $1000 "LoJack" fee. That's the second problem. I told him I specifically asked Kimini about additional fees and she said there would not be any. Reggie's response was, "Well - Kimini doesn't really know what she's talking about." He then asked if I'd like to speak to the manager. Enter Tracey. Tracey then tells me that Kimini is a new employee and hasn't been properly trained yet. Problem number three. So why is she answering phones and giving out false information? Now onto the $1000 fee. Tracey tries to explain that they HAVE TO charge that fee because he has to perform a New York State mandated safety inspection on every used vehicle he sells. Well Reggie said it was for LoJack - but OK. I tell Tracey a New York State safety and emissions inspection costs $37. He tells me this is a "different" safety inspection and $1000 is what he gets charged for the techs to perform said inspection where they have to hook it up to a diagnostic machine and wait for it to cycle through the car's systems. Problem number four. So let me get this straight - I'm supposed to believe that the technicians - who are employed by the dealership - are somehow able to charge him $1000 to do something that any Pep Boys shop does for free? Then when I called him out on it, Tracey gets insulted and tells me he won't tolerate being called a liar. I never actually called him a liar. Sure I may have IMPLIED that he's a liar but then again he implied that I was an idiot. Because you'd have to be an idiot to believe that line of horse poop. Well Tracey, I won't tolerate being called an idiot. Still wanting to try to salvage this deal I asked what his absolute bottom line out the door price was. I was expecting SOME degree of negotiation but he stood firm on the advertised price plus the $1000 fee. No negotiation whatsoever. We were done. We left. This dealership is under new management. Many of the 5 star reviews that you're seeing on here are for the previous management and these guys are trying to ride that wave. I expect their overall rating will plummet over the next 6-12 months as this new business model of deceit plays out. Good luck guys. More
I had called up and scheduled an appointment to test drive a Kia Optima. While on the phone with the internet sales manager, I had requested a few different numbers. She said she will give me a call back, I waited 2 hours before I called back requesting those numbers again. She said they will get to it when they can... I let a few hours go by, as I’m now sitting at a different dealership..I call up and ask to speak with the manager, whom the gentleman said it was him. I explained everything to him, asked him if he could put numbers together for me, as I had over an hour drive, and if it wasn’t in the price range, I would have to cancel my appointment. I was told to give him 15 minutes, and he will call me right back. It is now 2 months later, not a single person has reached out or called, with numbers, trying to sell a vehicle, nothing. By far one of the worst dealerships I have EVER dealt with, and very unprofessional. Very bad customer service on their end! Went with an Altima Platinum instead! More
