Rarely do you ever he Everything was great until 30 seconds after we drove off the lot... This is why most people absolutely dread buying a car! Rarely do you ever hear about car dealers like customer-first companies like Costco, Les Schwab and Nordstroms. Our experience is another example why. I'll try to be brief. Overall the experience making the deal was pretty routine. Back and forth with salesman and manager. Good cop/ bad cop routine. We were trading in our MB 450gls. So they took the car back to the shop and ran it through it's paces. They came back (as I expected) and said it needed new tires and brake pads. But the issue for me was what they attributed the amount to discount. They said $1800 for new tires and $1600 for brakes. Clearly very high and retail amounts. No way they are paying this amount for these things. Plus they took these amounts off the LOW KBB "trade-in" value. So basically they it's always in their favor on every aspect. But I let this go. The price of the used car I was buying was reasonable in my eyes and I didn't want to deal with selling my MB. So we struck a deal that I was happy enough with. Then more waiting, lots of waiting, then time to go to the finance office which is always annoying to me. Them trying to sell me all these various add on protections which are way over inflated. Good god, there was about $8000 worth of add-on stuff on a $34k car...yikes. A quick no on all of these and I got past this gauntlet...whew. Finally, several hours later, got the keys and are on our way. Less than a minute down the road I notice there is a star (aka a chip) on the windshield about the size of a dime. Drivers side but low so not quite in line of sight. I hadn't noticed it initially because we only took a 5 minute test drive. So I called the salesman (Arlen) and we was quite surprised and said send a pic and he'd get back to me. Now let me say here, yes I did sign a doc saying I was buying a used car "as-is". I know used cars have blemishes in the paint and the interior which I have no issue with at all. But I would expect all used car buyers buying a car from a reputable dealership is expecting a blemish-free windshield. Here is my other issue! The way they went through my trade-in makes me believe there is no chance this star was missed on their end. No way anyone is going to convince me they didn't know about it after all the paces this car goes through there to make it ready to sell. . So here's what they offered to do. The said they would "fix" it. And I went along with this. I got a call from a glass company the following day in EVERETT! Swickard BTW is in Edmonds and I live in Sequim. 2+ hours away. But again, I accepted this. They said they could fix it. And off we go the following day. When we got there I knew this wasn't going to go well. These guys looked at us like they couldn't be bothered. They were more concerned about who was paying for this! Which, turns out was only $70 bucks! I knew then and there what kinds job they would do. And I was right. I've attached before and after pics (if I can figure this out). Slightly better but not much. Dang...such a waste of time and aggravation. So I sent before and after pics back to Arlen. Said I wanted a new windshield. And as only car dealers seem to be good at, they turn good experiences into bad ones. They said no because that would cost a $1000. Instead they don't seem to mind bad reviews and losing customers. All that extra profit they had in my low trade-in value wasn't enough to do the right thing. So a pretty frustrating experience to say the least. Footnote: Arlen, my salesman, was very new/green. He was awesome and tried to help us. It doesn't appear he's drunk enough koolaid there to be jaded yet. I wish him the very best. More

Purchased my 2025 RAV4 hybrid in December - had a terrific experience with Tommy when I purchased. In past always dealt with Khing for servicing my cars. Today low tire pressure light came on. Sin terrific experience with Tommy when I purchased. In past always dealt with Khing for servicing my cars. Today low tire pressure light came on. Since I had purchased tire warranty went up to have it fixed. Got Joesph who said I did not have the warranties I had, and that he wasn't sure what could be done..they would do an inspection but he needed PROOF of my warranties. Ummm I don't carry my sales contract on me. He said computers are not updated for 3-6 months after purchase and he needed PROOF. I said he could speak to Tommy and he said not his job and he doesn't work in that area and I should have my proof. Had to find Tommy, his manager Ionel and then service manager to assure that my car was covered. Frustrating. Will NEVER have anyone but Khing deal with my car. More

I wasn't prepared for such a great experience when buying a car at any dealership, but Swickard is definitely an exception. Salesman Steve Beaumont was attentive, patient, and completely thorough in taking m a car at any dealership, but Swickard is definitely an exception. Salesman Steve Beaumont was attentive, patient, and completely thorough in taking my inquiry, all the way to a great purchase for me. It was low stress, straight forward, professional, and simply much better than any vehicle purchase I have ever had. In the end I got a great deal and left a happy camper. Everyone else working there stopped by to ask how I was doing, and were genuinely "genuine". Joe, Dave and the gentleman from Romania (sorry, I forgot his name) were all just great and very accommodative. Thank you all so much! More
