Gary does a great job and truly cares about customer service. The dealership in Anchorage is another matter; I’ve purchased several vehicles from there over the years and without fail they detailed the service. The dealership in Anchorage is another matter; I’ve purchased several vehicles from there over the years and without fail they detailed the vehicle and filled it up (new or used); not this time and was told used vehicles only received 1/4 of a tank (which was what it had). They also did not disclose to me the tailgate button was inoperable and the Onstar system was inoperable; when I went back I confronted the salesman Bill if they knew any of this but all he did was give me excuses that it was someone else’s fault. Guess with a change in ownership customer service is now non-existent in the Anchorage dealership. I was also promised two oil changes after my first review went to Chevy but this too did not happen. Good thing Gary does believe in service after the sale and is taking care of business as it should be. More

Communication and scheduling through the national system is frustrating and not effective - either the online or 800 #. It does a disservice to the dealership and the customer. Originally recall camera work was scheduled for 2023. Work was scheduled through the 800 number. However, the dealership was not notified and the part was not there. I was told we would be contacted. That never happened. We received another notice of recall for the same item Spring 2024. Again - the only way to schedule is through the national network. We did so for 10 am on April 9. I stopped by the dealership on April 8 to confirm appt, time and that they had the part. I had left messages on Gary's phone number several times in February, March and April and never had a return call. I met Gary personally on April 9. It took him about 20 minutes to verify the part was there ( Evidently a new system for parts has been instituted.) He apologized for the wait and the non return of phone calls. The work was completely in a timely manner on April 10 and Gary took care of all paperwork and emailed us promptly. At this point the vehicle is working properly. It makes me mark this was to buy a vehicle, It was not - it was taking in a vehicle for a recall notice. More
