I thought Scott did a really good job. What I liked is that he understood what I was looking for and made it easy for me to know what he had that was a reasonably good match. I don't know if I left money on the table, but I would have to save a lot to make it worth haggling. My impression was that the pricing was pretty transparent and pretty good, so I just accepted it. Everybody else I dealt with was fine. Jeremy spent significant time explaining various service agreements to me. I rejected them all, mainly because I don't think there is any way for the customer to know whether the price of the service is favorable to the customer or favorable to the dealer, or how favorable. Since I assume the dealer is in business to make money, I also tend to assume that the prices are favorable to the dealer. I can't really think of a way around this problem. Probably what would help me the most would be verifiable information on the profitability of the service. Something similar to a loss/revenue comparison for a coverage product in insurance. The guy who turned over the truck to me (I can't remember his name) was very helpful and seemed pretty good at it. Of course, I couldn't take it all in, being a geezer. I really miss the days when a truck was just a truck, rather than an AI based personal assistant, but I figure that's just my problem. More
