We apologize that we failed to communicate the process for applying our Paint Protection package. We are grateful for your feedback, and will use it to improve our communication regarding this product in the future. The paint protection package, called ResistAll is an amazing product. It is designed to protect against environmental fallout such as acid rain, bird waste and oxidation etc. There is also an internal component to protect the seats, dash and doors from spills and staining, along with odors from mold or mildew. It is not only an application but an insurance, should it be needed. Vehicles need to be thoroughly cleaned prior to the application to ensure the best results. The product takes time to apply and cure before being ready. Depending on detailing availability, this may require an appointment and the provision of rental vehicle, if requested. As with all vehicles, we take the utmost care to ensure they are returned to their owners full satisfaction.

Dear Madam, At the end of a model year, the manufacturer often stops supporting vehicles with incentives. When that occurs, in some situations, it makes sense for the dealership to title the vehicle. In order to maintain the integrity of new vehicles, the manufacturer requires that we DO NOT SELL the vehicle for 3 months after that occurs. The actual rule is stated as follows: “Eligible vehicles may be new and unused vehicles sold or leased to any entity with a dealer license that are titled at the time of sale. Title must be retained on these vehicles for a minimum of three (3) months after the reported NVDR delivery date. The selling dealership must ensure these requirements are fulfilled. The selling dealership is also responsible for compliance with state tax, licensing, and registration requirements. Any violation will result in the chargeback of all incentives.” This is what occurred in this instance. Susquehanna Auto took title to the vehicle on 03.02.2015, so we will be permitted by Jeep to sell it on 06.02.2015 without a violation. As owners of the dealership, we will often choose to drive a vehicle because we are unable to retail it without a violation and the mileage added has minimal impact on the value of the vehicle. During that time we continue to market the vehicle, because sometimes the schedule of availability will match the customer’s needs. The description on our website of the vehicle you had interest in, states that it will be available on June 2, 2015. I wish we had done a better job of explaining the situation to you. If we had provided a better explanation, your frustration may have been eliminated. I am happy that you were able to find a Grand Cherokee SRT that met your needs without much delay.
