Great car buying experience My wife and I drove past two other Chrysler dealerships to work with Susquehanna because they participate with the USAA auto buying service, and throu My wife and I drove past two other Chrysler dealerships to work with Susquehanna because they participate with the USAA auto buying service, and through that program and through Susquehanna Chrysler, we got an excellent deal on an excellent car. We were pleasantly surprised that we were afforded the option of custom ordering a car, yet still got the USAA auto buying price. Ryan Jacob brought us into the dealership, and was very helpful, but the USAA auto buying program forced us to switch to a different sales agent (Bailey Clyde) to actually purchase the car. Like Ryan, Bailey was also excellent. Both Ryan and Bailey were accessible and very helpful. In the short time since we completed the car purchase, Bailey has also helped us several times even though the deal has closed. There was no question Ryan or Bailey couldn't answer (sometimes with help from a colleague). We were offered extended warranties as we prepared to receive the car, but we found the pricing was not at all competitive with what we could purchase through USAA. It must, however, be understood that the pricing offered through the dealership was really very competitive with what we were able to find through other third-party extended warranty companies. I do also feel compelled to note that the price we were quoted on our trade-in was something of a low-ball offer initially, but the dealership did (upon negotiation) come up in their offer to what we thought was a reasonable price. The only other glitch that came up concerned our car's title; we had to get a letter from our third-party (USAA) auto lender in order to have the car titled under both of our names (husband and wife) because only the wife applied for the auto loan on THIS car. Ultimately, we got the letter, and we got the car titled as we wanted without any further hassle from Susquehanna Chrysler. Absolutely, we would buy again from Susquehanna Chrysler if we again choose to purchase a Chrysler in the future (the model we just picked up is our first Chrysler, so we don't have the advantage of experience to know how great our loyalty to Chrysler will be) and if Susquehanna Chrysler continues to participate in the USAA auto buying service. Bailey and Susquehanna CDJR assisted me in accomplishing several goals I had in purchasing a car. First, the price point on the vehicle I was interested in was very fair and left me feeling confident that I was not being taken advantage of. I did a lot of research prior to deciding on my vehicle and there were no competing offers within 100 miles or so at that time on a similar vehicle. Second, I did not want to purchase a car somewhere I didn't feel respected me as a person, and I definitely felt respected at Susquehanna CDJR which was reassuring. There was nothing sleazy or greasy about the way the staff at Susquehanna CDJR treated me. Third, I was hopeful that I could receive a certain fair price for my trade-in. Bailey matched the trade-in amount I had in mind. Lastly, I was hoping to score a lower interest rate on the financing than I had arranged prior to coming to Susquehanna CDJR. Bailey and the team there worked together and found a creditor willing to beat the modest interest rate I had already acquired. Considering that I arrived on a Friday evening, had no prior interactions with Bailey or the other staff who assisted in completing the necessary paperwork, and essentially ate into their weekends, the degree of earnest helpfulness that they all demonstrated toward me really made me feel satisfied that this dealership was worth spending my hard earned money at. Also, since purchasing my vehicle, I have received numerous follow ups from Bailey to ensure that I have been satisfied with my purchase. So, customer satisfaction is clearly a concern for this dealership. That said, it's still a car dealership and they clearly want to make some money (who doesn't?). I visited and called several dealerships to schedule test drives and to inquire about purchasing cars prior to shopping at Susquehanna CDJR and had varying experiences in that process. Compared to my other experiences with dealerships which either used high pressure sales tactics and condescending lectures to try to strong-arm me into buying a car (or, conversely, seemed entirely disinterested in me), the way that Bailey and the rest of the team engaged with me came across as polite, professional, respectful and - as to be expected - business-like. Take away point: I'd recommend giving Bailey and the folks at Susquehanna CDJR a chance to do business with you. More
