I have been a Jeep person since my first Jeep that I bought in 1991. I drove that first Jeep a few hundred thousand miles. And passed it on to one of my children who drove it another hundred thousand mi bought in 1991. I drove that first Jeep a few hundred thousand miles. And passed it on to one of my children who drove it another hundred thousand miles probably. I bought two Jeeps since then from Susquehanna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram because I had a family member who worked there. And I love Jeeps. I was always treated fairly well at Susquehanna. A few months back I got a recall notice from Jeep for my clutch. I called Susquehanna Jeep to order the parts to do the replacement of the clutch that was recalled. I was informed at that time that it would take weeks to get the part in. I waited about a month and still no call. So I called Susquehanna Jeep. I was then told that they had no record of me calling or ordering the parts from the service writers. At that point the service writer Holly assured me that she talked directly to Mark at her parts department and made sure that they ordered my clutch. Again I was told it would take a few weeks. A few weeks went by still no call. So I called the service again. And was informed at that time that my part was in fact in. At that point I scheduled the appointment with the service manager Aaron for today to drop my Jeep off to get the recalled clutch installed. I set up the appointment with the loaner car Option because I was told it could take a day and a half to install the clutch and waiting for my Jeep probably would not be an option. When I get there for my morning appointment at 7:00 a.m. that was confirmed. And driving the half an hour to get there at 7:00 a.m.. I was told that they had no record of me reserving the loaner car. After telling the service writer Holly what I went through to get the part and then making the time away from work to get there driving 30 minutes from my home. And close to an hour to where I work in Maryland. The response was. Well I don't know who you talk to but there was no loner car scheduled for you. And sorry, I can reschedule it in a very non-sympathetic tone. One that left me feeling like it was all my fault and I'm an idiot. And she has better things to do. Is this the kind of customer service you give to people that buy 40 some thousand dollar vehicles at your dealership? And that are also repeat buyers? Very disappointed. More
Never thought I'd buy a car remotely, but these folks were the closest dealer to my home in NC that had a blue Pacifica Hybrid. Every other dealer had only boring white. Smooth transaction. One way ai were the closest dealer to my home in NC that had a blue Pacifica Hybrid. Every other dealer had only boring white. Smooth transaction. One way airfare to Harrisburg, they picked me up at my hotel in my car and drove to the dealership to do the paperwork. I had all the figures in my email in advance and there were no surprises and got what I consider a fair deal. More
I've purchased two vehicles from them in the past year, & have had an excellent experience with both. They gave me the highest trade in value & biggest discount on any of the dealers in my area. I just worked with Ted Holllenbach to purchase the last one, & he was fantastic to work with. More
STAY AWAY! I THOUGHT BAIT AND SWITCH WAS A THING OF THE PAST, NOT HERE! For context, I have owned 11 Jeep Wranglers and dealt with numerous dealers and this I THOUGHT BAIT AND SWITCH WAS A THING OF THE PAST, NOT HERE! For context, I have owned 11 Jeep Wranglers and dealt with numerous dealers and this by far is the worst. On December 21st, I made a deal with the manager at the dealer, Jake. He asked that I put down a $1,000 deposit to hold the Jeep. I said sure. Jake told me their normal policy was to hold a vehicle for 2 days. I explained that I was 4 hours away, it was the holiday weekend and I couldn’t get a check from my credit union that fast. He texted back, no problem we can hold it until the next Saturday, the 30th. For some reason, Jake returned my deposit on the 23rd but said we are still good to go on the 30th. I have text messages for all of this. Fast forward to the 28th, at this post I got a check from the credit union for the exact amount of the price that was agreed upon, I texted Jake to make sure everything was good to go for Saturday because I had the long drive. He did not respond. I went ahead and called and talked to a lady named Diane, I believe, who insinuated that Jake was no longer employed there but said the deal was good and she would help me Saturday morning. Thursday night at 6:58pm, 2 minutes before the dealership closed, I received a phone call from the dealership principal, Damian, he notified me that Jake was no longer an employee of the dealership. He then told me he was no longer going to honor the deal that was made. He said if you want to buy the Jeep it would be $2,800 more and I will email the offer shortly and hung up. The next day Friday, he told me he would have honored the original price if I would have stuck to the deposit procedure. I explained that I did just that and Jake gave me the extra time and I even sent him the texts showing that Jake said that. Well, good old Damian reneged again and disregarded the text proof that I abided by his deposit procedure! You don’t really want to do business with someone like this, especially the owner! So I suggest you do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, like I did! More
Now you see it -- Now you dont ! !! I was searching online for a new Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator and had researched a few of the local Jeep dealerships to also find the best trade in v !! I was searching online for a new Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator and had researched a few of the local Jeep dealerships to also find the best trade in value as well for my trade in. I did find the Jeep Wrangler I was interested in but couldnt negotiate a price with Susquehanna CDJR for my trade but I was able to sell my car elsewhere and decided to purchase the a Wrangler Willys from Susquehanna. I had originally looked at a used Jeep Wrangler at Susquehanna but the bad condition of the wheel and tires made me look at a new one. I had explained to the sales rep Riley that "I dont drive a vehicle that has crappy looking tires or rims". I had chosen a new 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 2 door and the day I picked it up there were a few scratches on the hood and Riley took it back to see if they could get them out... I was not taking home a vehicle that had scratches on it... After it came back out after about 30 minutes--- I was making sure that the scratches were gone and Riley and another salesman were wiping down the tires and rims. It was a bright sunny day and although I did inspect the tires and rims to ensure they were not damaged or scratch it wasnt until a little while after I picked up the Jeep that I noticed some strange blue dotted series of numbers on 3 out of the 5 tires (including spare on back). The numbers were dotted and nothing I had ever seen on a tires. (see photos included). These were only noticed after the glossy spray that the dealership used to shine up the tires had worn off and I had not noticed them when I first inspected the Jeep at pick up. I brought the Jeep back to the dealership and Riley happened to be working that day and I brought him outside to show him the imperfections on the tires and asked him what was the numbers on the tire all about. He seemed to not know why there were numbers all along the outside of the tires along with the spare tire having some of the rubber dulled out by what seemed a rubbing or scraping to get some sort of sticker or something peeled off of it but it was also not noticed until the wheel gloss shine was now had disappated. Riley called his floor manager John out to take a look and they brought my Jeep back to see if they could get the blue dotted numbers off my tires. After about an hour Riley brought my Jeep out and stated they did the best they could but they couldnt get all the blue off of one of the tires and that he had no explanation of what the spare damaged was with the rubbed off rubber dulling area. Riley stated to me that he had never seen the blue dotted numbers on tires before and it must be something from FIRESTONE. I was not happy with the outcome as John stated there is nothing else they can do to make me happy and I questioned the fact that someone there who had conditioned the Jeep prior to pick HAD to notice the blue dotted numbers along with the scraped dulling portion on the spare. Riley also told me that John stated he could and would no nothing else as they are tires and there is nothing wrong with them.. He was correct there was nothing wrong with them to drive on but they were not cosmetically perfect and I feel because I am over 65 years old and a woman I was not treated fairly and deserved to have tires in a cosmetically new condition after paying what I did for the Jeep and not hidden by tire shine. While I was waiting now for the almost 2 hours for them to do what they had to I walked outside and looked at the other Jeeps on the lot and surprising to me some of the tires on the Jeep had the same blue dotted numbers on them. I took a few pictures for reference and decided to called Jeep Customer Service and filed a complaint. Long story short -- dealership did a great job masking the tire issues but I am still driving a new Jeep with crappy looking NEW tires due to what I feel was deceptive actions from the staff at the dealership. Ted did a super job in getting us in our new Grand Cherokee. He was great to work with and didn't push us to buy something we didn't want. Everyone we have dealt with was super. Cherokee.
