Went to purchase a 2023 Expedition Max. Price initially on the website was 55,998. When I was about to head out the door to purchase the vehicle the price went to 59,998 on the website. I received a call from the manager after dealing with the sales guy stating that there was unforeseen things that needed to be fixed and would not honor that original price. In this case they should not be putting prices on the website until the vehicle has gone through. I decided to do my business elsewhere. More
I purchased a 2021 Ford Explorer xx from Superior Ford in Plymouth. I live several states away and made plans to fly there and drive the car back. The sales process went smoothly and the salesperson picked me up at the airport on the morning I arrived and brought me to the dealership for final signatures. I was not happy to discover that the Explorer had 1,000 more miles than advertised because the used car sales manager had been using it as his personal vehicle. They should have put that in the classified listing and kept the true mileage updated. In addition, the car was dirty. Not filthy mind you, but it had mud in the wheel wells, and they had only given it the most basic exterior wash when I picked it up. The interior needed a wipe down and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. When I buy a car site unseen, don't haggle about the price, and give the dealership 4 days of notice when I'd be picking it up, I expect a FULL exterior and interior detailing to be done. I couldn't have made the process easier for them, the least they could have done for me is make sure the car looked like new inside and out. Getting the title transferred to our state took longer than it should have as well. It took about 7 weeks, which caused me to have to drive on an expired temp tag for three weeks. The person at Superior who was responsible for this process was not prompt or accurate in her communication with us regarding the required paperwork, thus causing unnecessary delays. In addition, she was either let go or quit in the middle of the process and was replaced by someone else who had to get up to speed on the whole situation, which further delayed it. Regardless of all those issues, everyone at Superior Ford was friendly and nice to deal with, and we are very pleased with the Explorer we purchased. So while they need to step up their game a little bit, we'd still give a thumbs-up to Superior Ford. More

After we were doing paperwork they decided they were taking a couple grand off our trade in due to us smoking. 2019 F150 33,000mi. superb cond they said.(when they listed it) along w lying that it was purchased there and serviced there, local trade and nonsmoker. I pointed this lie out and they removed that but changed it back again and now it is gone. Sold i assume. Very disappointed to see such ridiculous lying where I just spent a small fortune on a vehicle. Just now picked up our plates there. Very nice guy put them on for us. I showed him 2 places where there were paint defects. He was sending new car mgr out to look. We waited and waited and I guess he was too busy when there's a problem. I am hoping I can get the paint issues taken care of through Waconia Ford where we purchased our last 3 F150's They were always great. I will not be buying at this dealership again. Hopefully the new owner of our truck isn't allergic to smoke 🙄 More

I discovered shortly thereafter that the heated and cooled seats weren't working. I told him they missed it during inspection obviously. The used car manager said because I bought it as is they couldn't fix it. I was also told that during inspection there was nothing that came up about the seats. They contacted the previous owner and he said they were working. My problem is if they were working for the previous owner and they were working upon inspection, what happened between inspection and the time I purchased the vehicle? Then I was told it would be expensive to fix and I would have to pay for it. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. I don't have thousands of dollars available to have this fixed. The heated seats in this state are almost a necessity. I also asked about a second key. I like to have a second key just in case. I was quoted about $325 for a new key and programming. I do believe I can get it done cheaper somewhere else. I am a bit disappointed that they didn't at least offer to look at the vehicle and see what it was and give me an estimate for free. More
I was sold a vehicle that for last 10 months has been back in the dealership for 8 months with nonstop problems. Disappointing their sales men got me into a vehicle like that knowing I came to them needi back in the dealership for 8 months with nonstop problems. Sales manager refused to sell me a truck I believe because of my color, he used the excuse I didn't live close enough to the dealership, I've never heard of anything like that before. Per Midas, the car should have been JUNKED. More
