Sunset Ford of Waterloo - Service Center

I had to haul my wife’s car to sunset ford for a water pump replacement job and service manager said they did not have a technician to do that kind of work. Sunset ford at that time only had three technic pump replacement job and service manager said they did not have a technician to do that kind of work. Sunset ford at that time only had three technicians in the whole shop!! and neither one of them could replace a water pump?!?!? The only thing they could do was bs little jobs like rotating tires and changing oil and crap that didn’t mean a hill of beans, but this shop still thinks they need to charge the customer well over $100 per hour for labor!!! What a joke!! I had to go back there and pick up our car and haul it to a dealer 20 miles away to have the work done!! More

Feel like I got scammed out of $750 a/c isn’t working right they told me its fan motor and speed regulator but I already replaced that tech even said it looks like I already replaced it but said that wha right they told me its fan motor and speed regulator but I already replaced that tech even said it looks like I already replaced it but said that what it was cause I use aftermarket parts that they wasn’t compatible with Ford parts but didn’t fix my aftermarket parts work just as well as fords no difference More

When I had my oil changed & my tires rotated thru service department. I was supposed to have the point check of everything, fluids etc. I believe? Well my windshield washer reservoir was left wide open and n department. I was supposed to have the point check of everything, fluids etc. I believe? Well my windshield washer reservoir was left wide open and not filled? It appeared they were going to do it and forgot. I’m not sure. I trust Sunset Ford in Waterloo Illinois and have for years, that’s why I take my car there for the oil change & the additive to protect my engine. I could’ve gotten my tires rotated by the company that I bought them from for “free” but I opted to pay the $8 with oil change and have everything under the hood checked. Just disappointed that the water reservoir was left wide open and nothing added. Thank you More
