I went to Toyota with intentions to just test drive 1 of the 3 vehicles on my list. He set up a test drive for the 4Runner and as we walked past the cars in the showroom I commented on why I didn’t like the car to our right. TURNS OUT, I was lying cause I love everything about the Land Cruiser. I just didn’t like the color I was looking at. Ralston told me I have to sit in it. It can’t hurt. He set the seat how I’d like it and from there I asked if we could test drive. He still walked me to all different cars, we looked at all my options. Ralston, who I consider a friend, was experiencing the same frustration as I. Knowing Ralston was on the job, trying to keep me informed, greatly eased the stress of the delay. Sunrise Toyota North has always provided a comfortable, relaxed buying and service environment. The service group, very professional, will suggest certain services that need to be addressed. On Monday 6/17/2024 I stopped by for a state inspection and oil change for my 2020 Sienna that I brought from this dealer. First, the lady in the service desk told me that state inspection is no longer fre and oil change for my 2020 Sienna that I brought from this dealer. First, the lady in the service desk told me that state inspection is no longer free since I did not stop by exactly within one year. Last year I was there on June 3rd or 4th this year on 17th. Even though I clearly remember that I was told during buying the car that state inspection will be free for life time! I asked the lady I would like someone to show me how to get my spare tire (it is underneath the car somewhere) since no one showed me during buying. The gentleman next to her on the service counter told me I do not have spare tire but my tires are run flat. I was doubtful and still requested to double check. After inspection she told me I need two new front tires to pass the inspection. She still claimed I have run flat tires. I left and I went to a tire only garage in Ronkonkoma. They showed me my spare tire underneath back of the passenger seat and categorically told me I have regular tires. I replced the front tires and got my new inspection sticker (from another garage). I do not think I will ever go back to Sunrise Toyota North for sevicing again! More
