GREAT EXPERIENCE After several EXHAUSTING TRIPS AND EXPERIENCES at other dealerships, little did I know what to expect when I drove onto the lot at SUBARU OF DAYTONA!! After several EXHAUSTING TRIPS AND EXPERIENCES at other dealerships, little did I know what to expect when I drove onto the lot at SUBARU OF DAYTONA!!! When I walked into the SHOWROOM, I was NOT pounced upon by THE ENTIRE SALES CREW and was given time to browse the showroom and look at the various models at my own pace. Once I had an opportunity to view these vehicles, Linda Palmer, a woman that gets to know and understand her customers as quickly as possible during this short period of time. While talking and with a few KEY QUESTIONS concerning what I was looking for and my price range, she seemed to know EXACTLY what type of vehicle to show me. As we walked the lot, she pointed out several different models (IT SEEMED AS SHE KNEW THEY WERE NOT THE CARS FOR ME) and THEN SHE SHOWED ME A LEGACY. This was the car I had been looking for ALL DAY!!! After looking at several of them, she showed me the one that was PERFECT for me and she knew it (I INSTANCELY NOTICED THE SMILE ON HER FACE). After the "TEST DRIVE", I was hooked and very "LITTLE HAGGLING WENT ON" and I drove out of the dealership with "A SMILE ON MY FACE". LINDA WAS AMAZING,AS SHE SEEMED TO READ MY MIND AND WAS ABLE TO SEE WHAT TYPE OF VEHICHLE I ACTUALLY WANTED, WHAT A GREAT PERSON TO HAVE ON YOUR STAFF!!! More

Mike respected my wish to communicate via email and we negotiated over the week and once we reached an agreement (one that was VERY fair to me) I sent over my paperwork and information so he could prepare the documents for the sale. I live in St. Johns County, so we made the 50 mile drive south and arrived at 9:25 am and was pleased to find the vehicle out front, finely detailed, full tank of fuel and ready for a Test Drive. I met Mike in person and off we went, the test drive went perfectly and the vehicle was as described and then some. I signed a few documents, and we were walked over to the finance department (I had secured financing from my local credit union the day before) and Bruce helped us out in a very timely manner! After all the documents were signed, Mike walked my wife and I out to the car and that was that! It was 10:30 am! An hour to get out the door, it was the most painless and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had! Mike Powers is a true professional and made this experience an exceptional one. Was disappointed to see the quality of delivery prep for a Subaru delivery. Car had been hastily washed and vacuumed and th tires shined. Dash wasn’t detailed with amor all or other agent (car had been sitting in the sun for quite some time based on the condition of the dash), no wax applied to any body parts, accessories for the back were just thrown in the back , not placed in their functioning spots. Had to hurry up so we could get to finance, then wait thirty minutes for the finance guy. Sales Manager seemed more than complacent to customer service and it appeared evident every where except with the finance guy. Hope to have a better experience with service when that time comes. Meanwhile, in hindsight, I should have drove to Orlando to make the purchase. More

Gene found a 2017 Subaru Outba We wanted to trade our sedan for an SUV with all the safety features, but did not want to be burdened with a high cost. Gene found a 2017 Subaru Outback with only 14k miles (practically new) with all the feature we wanted, and with an outstanding warranty. We took a test drive and fell in love with the Outback. Road noise on I 95 was minimal, and the comfort was really great. We even drove it through soft sand (very soft). The Outback went through the sand amazingly!! Gene made us a trade in offer that was VERY attractive! We are now very proud owners of a Subaru Outback. We are thankful for the patience and customer care of Gene McMahon. We highly recommend Gene and Subaru of Daytona for honesty and good pricing. More

Not the reason I went there ! Took my 2017 Imprezza to service dept. for a radio recall. While having a cup of coffee and a donut, I thought I would just see what the new Forester Took my 2017 Imprezza to service dept. for a radio recall. While having a cup of coffee and a donut, I thought I would just see what the new Foresters looked like. My new Imprezza was terrific, but realized just a little bit tight for an old man like me. I had researched the Foresters and they were the best rated of the Suburu line. The one in the show room was much more roomy than my Imprezza, but lacked all the upgrades I had become used to. Thought I would "just take a look" at the Foresters on the lot. Not a white one anywhere to be had-none! I had to have white and it had to be the top of the line model. On my way back to the waiting area and another donut, I passed one of the salesman and asked why there were no white Foresters on the lot. He very kindly said we can get one, BUT I'm currently with a customer and if you can wait a couple of minutes until my brother returns, I think he has what you want. I said sure, no worries and got another donut! Then entered GENE MCHANON. We talked for a moment, he LISTENED to what I wanted and why. Returned in a minute with a 10,000 mile, 2018 Forester TOURING w/ TURBO. AND IT WAS WHITE!!! Simply asked me, "do you want to drive it?" About 20 minutes later, GENE was able to make me a fantastic deal trading my Imprezza on the Forester. Overwhelmingly satisfied with my second SUBURU, Subaru of Daytona and especially GENE MCHANON - he didn't try to sell me...HE JUST LISTENED and delivered. THIS WAS NOT THE REASON I WENT THERE, BUT GENE UNDERSTOOD ME AND MADE IT HAPPEN! Why would you go any place else? More
