Hi Kelly, This is Ziad Nashed, Dealer Principal at Subaru of Cherry Hill. I apologize that your experience at Subaru of Cherry Hill did not meet your expectations. We feel bad that your daughter's first car buying experience was tainted. That was never our intention. VIP pricing is only offered to employees of Subaru of America, Inc., as well as their families. Customers must be sponsored by an employee of Subaru of America, Inc. -- not a dealership. When we met, you told us you were a VIP candidate. As it turns out, you were referring to a VIP deal from someone you knew at a competing dealership...these are two different things. Not knowing this at the time, we offered to match the VIP deal (if this was a real VIP deal, the VIP deal would be valid at our dealership as well). We were still willing to offer the VIP deal to you, but we had to add $189 for equipment that was added to that particular vehicle. As for the rate, we cannot legally discuss an exact rate without submitting a credit application. We can give a range, just not an exact rate. Once we were able to obtain a credit request, we could discuss exact rates. That is the policy that we have to follow. We did not mean for any miscommunication or confusion. In order for us to conduct business, the proper VIP form needs to be presented. If this were presented, there surely would not have been any confusion. Many thanks, Ziad Nashed 856-330-1500
