Nothing like my daughter and I spending 2 days finding the right car, the right deal, driving over an hour in anticipation of picking up what would be my daughters first new car .... only to find after be the right car, the right deal, driving over an hour in anticipation of picking up what would be my daughters first new car .... only to find after being there and ready to sign on the dotted line, that the deal changed, from a 2.9 percent finance to 3.9, we were told that Subaru isn't offering that rate at this time, oh and the price changed too, as supposedly the owner flipped out saying we shouldn't be getting VIP pricing (which another dealer was offering and my salesperson said they would match) so for a mere $189 plus the extra 1 percent they let us walk as we refused to let them defer from their word. (BTW every dealership as of the 1st of Oct is running the same program 1.9 for up to 36 and 2.9 up to 72 which we called them on.) So they scrambled trying to salvage the deal, as well as these would be faithful customers, but after our arrival of 1pm where we were eager to take home our new Impreza to hour 4, where I felt the need to walk away from dealing with not 1, not 2 but 3 sales guys who clearly thought they could take advantage of 2 women buying a car, we drove off into the sunset and over the bridge back to PA and rented a car. Clearly, the last thing I want is to look at her car in my driveway and be reminded of how we were treated and taken advantage of on this day for the next 5-7 years. Someone out there will want and have earned our business, as to these fellas, who treated us ladies like we didn't know what we were doing and tried to pull one over on us hopefully felt the slap of their hand and will change their policies going forward, especially when dealing with female consumers. How dare they taint my daughters first buying experience, and try to show me up as an uneducated consumer in front of her, let alone me- being a parent who would not let their child be duped, shame on you guys, you let the car salesman sterotype live on. More
I stopped by the dealership to pick up a brochure for a 2012 Outback which I had looked at at another dealership. The dealership did not have the brochure for the 2012, however the sales staff said they c 2012 Outback which I had looked at at another dealership. The dealership did not have the brochure for the 2012, however the sales staff said they could get me in a 2013 for the same cost. I was skeptical, however they were able to match the 2012 price. The service I received from start to finish was superb. Furthermore, while I was picking up my vehicle I saw a poster on the wall and asked the owner (Zee)of the dealership if he might have an extra poster that I could give to my Downs Syndrome brother. He could not find that particular poster, but found a very nice stand-up advertisement from last year. When I returned to the dealer to have wheel well and seat back guards on my car Rich presented me with an entire package of other posters. My brother was thrilled. I will definitely recommend this dealership to any of my friends that are looking for a new car! More
