I took my vehicle in for a routine Maintenace/clean throttle, and I received a quote for $3K to seal my engine. I have been a loyal customer to this dealership and all they said it happens. I understan throttle, and I received a quote for $3K to seal my engine. I have been a loyal customer to this dealership and all they said it happens. I understand my 2016 Outback has 107K miles, but it is well maintained and routinely changed the engine oil with synthetic oil. That only equates to 12K miles per year. You purchase Subaru for reliability and this happens. Most of the quote is for the 200 per hour labor and you would think that a loyal customer would be taken care of by the dealership to agree that this is not a common issue with Subaru. Instead, as stated, a comment was made that it happens. All they were interested in was to start the work and be paid 3K to complete and also pushed for a spark plug replacement not realizing that I had the plugs changed at 60K and should be changed every 60K. Wow. I'll most likely take my business elsewhere and not purchase a Subaru but strongly consider a Honda or Toyota or even a Hyundai. I had a 100K warranty but because it now has 107K miles they would not consider a good faith gesture and assist. Very disappointed!! More
I took my car to Subaru World of Newton to get my flat fixed, it was irreparable sadly. I talked with Bryan in the service department and he went above and beyond to make sure that everything went as smoo fixed, it was irreparable sadly. I talked with Bryan in the service department and he went above and beyond to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible for me in buying a new tire. He made the whole experience so easy and pleasant. He went out of his way to make sure I was personally taken care of, something I’m sure he does for every customer. Service like this doesn’t happen much anymore in this world we live in, so when it happens to you it stands out. I had to go back the next day to finish things off and Bryan was there waiting for me and finished taking care of me until he knew everything was done right. If this is the quality of service members Subaru World employs, I’ll be back many times and I’ll tell everyone I know to go there. Thank you Bryan for the kindness, the professionalism and the lighthearted laughter. More

Bryan Garnto went above and Beyond to help me with Getting a Tire That I Bought at another Subaru Dealership. It had a Road Hazard Warranty but Subaru World of Newton wasn’t in the Program.
