The service team at Stokes VW went above & beyond for me, and I literally never asked for anything more than a quote. I fully expected shelling out $$$ on an engine part. One of the service team members noticed how recently my warranty had expired and suggested they contact the warranty department to see if VW would contribute to the cost. I paid $45 for a part & service that would have cost me $1,100 if the Stokes team had not gone the extra mile. And to think I almost went elsewhere because of my expired warranty and I was worried I would pay too much at the dealership. I am so appreciative and can’t recommend Stokes VW enough. Thanks again guys! More
VW Service recall Took a VW Passat 2014 for 69Q9 air bag inflator recall. Air bag light was on prior to replacing the recall light and stayed on after the part was rep Took a VW Passat 2014 for 69Q9 air bag inflator recall. Air bag light was on prior to replacing the recall light and stayed on after the part was replaced. They asked my daughter to pay for the diagnostics to determine what is causing the airbag light on. Internet research showed the airbag light on, steering audio controls and horn not working is due to protective cover over the steering wheel clock spring needs replacement. The VW recall shows "protective cover is a recall item and if airbag light is on the steering wheel clock spring will be replaced free of charge". I called Stokes again and spoke with Todd and he said that this is not a recall item by VW. I called Low Country VW and asked the cost on replacing the steering wheel clock spring and they said it will cost nothing if the car has less than 120,000 miles. They replaced the parts free of charge, airbag light is off, audio controls and horn works perfect. More

Sean has been my service writer for the past 4 years, and he has provided excellent customer support. Sean always diagnose whatever the problem is with my daughter's 09 VW Jetta correctly. Sean will not provide service that is not necessary, as with a recent visit that my daughter had. My daughter goes to college about 150 miles away from Charleston, and had a service code that prompted a visit. Sean re-checked the vehicle error code, and found out that a hose was loose which might have prompted the code. Sean had the technician tighten the hose and check for other leaks, and did not charge me for the diagnosis. An alignment had to be performed for another reason, but Sean could have easily charged my daughter for something that she did not need, but he didn't. I would definitely recommend Sean Erdenbrack as a Service Writer at this location, and I would definitely recommend this dealership for you VW needs. More

Went there interested in purchasing a Tiquan .Had a 2016 Honda for trade in.Asked for a certain $ amount for payments,but it was not firm.The tiquan d Went there interested in purchasing a Tiquan .Had a 2016 Honda for trade in.Asked for a certain $ amount for payments,but it was not firm.The tiquan did not fit my needs so had decided on the Atlas.The finance manager gave me the amounts to stay in the amount I wanted.Again it was flexible.Called him and wanted to talk about going forward with it.Neither the salesman or finance manager ever called me back.They wanted to give me thousands below my payoff and had the nerve to ask me to get the ding in windshield fixed.I have not seen a single Atlas on the road and I have been looking.So maybe Stokes you did me a favor.Went to Crews Chevrolet,they were fabulous!Got payoff on my car,no mention of windshield and now driving a 2018 Chevy Traverse. More

No – total lack of customer service. Is there anything you would have liked us to do differently? (If yes, please explain) YES! – Train your staff better in customer care & service, if they say someone will “contact you shortly”, follow through to ensure the person did respond. I only asked a few simple questions to which there was no thought for the customer, no responses and for these reasons you’ve been “Chopped!” I will gladly take my money & business elsewhere. More
