I have two things of concern about my car buying experience. The first is I traded in my Honda Mini-van, which is here in Greenwood with me, and no one has yet to contact me about it to date. I am in limbo about what to do with it as it is almost now Stokes Honda. (Possession is 9/10ths of the law, yet you own it.) In short, no one has made arrangements to come get it. I am beginning to feel very uncomfortable about this. Contact me to come get it or give it back to me and I'll donate it. I want it out of my yard. Time is of the essence. The view out of the back window is very, very dizzying!!! When I drive at night, the lights from the cars behind me look like a 'visual Doppler effect' shining through. I did not notice this odd visual effect because when I test drove the Civic, it was light out. I saw that the windows were treated with something called AQUAGEL. I am hoping this treatment is what caused the otherwise clear view. I'll be in Charleston this weekend so hopefully you can look at it then. This is my third Honda from Stokes, two Civics and an Odysessy . Your vehicles have never let me down. I am hoping to have an awesome ownership experience with number three. The gentleman who sold me this Civic, Tony Ward, went above and beyond in two aspects. The first is Mr. Tony Ward was so patient with me when I did my test driving. I rode back behind the dealership to my old neighborhood chatting his poor ear off. He was kind while I reminisced about my old stomping grounds. It has been about eight years since I left and a lot had changed. God bless him. The second is I really needed him to change his plans for the evening, I bought my car on a Saturday night, so he could assist me in returning the rental car I used that weekend. He said he had plans, but I told him I couldn't possibly drive two cars. So he drove a Stokes car to the rental place, I followed, then he gave me a ride back to Stokes to pick up my car. Good man, Tony Honda has a great reputation and I look forward to reaping the benefits of it. Now if someone would just come and get the mini-van. Sincerely, Barbara Frost More
Considering this was the 5th car our family has purchased from your dealership...that says alot all by itself. I came to Honda just to get an oil change on my Accord that i had previously purchased thru Sto from your dealership...that says alot all by itself. I came to Honda just to get an oil change on my Accord that i had previously purchased thru Stokes and left with a 2009 Jeep Liberty...i felt i was treated fairly and got a good deal on the trade in/value of my Accord and my new Jeep. I will continue doing business with Stokes and would deff recommend them to other family and friends...I also realize Shawn is relatively new to the dealership but i will say he was great to work with considering i am not an easy person to get along with...he held up like a champ!! More
I had several damages including side window breakage and scratches on seat surface. A service person took a look at damages, gave me a cost estimation and asked me if I wanted to order parts. I said yes and please call me to arrange a repair appointment once parts would arrive because it was very inconvenient for me to have a car without a window. She said she would call but no one call me. I called service department, explained what happened, then I was informed parts had already arrived and made a repair appointment. I went service department for repairs and a window was installed. However, it was advised that scratches should be treated by a fabricator, who was not there at that time, and need another repair appointment and one more visit for repair. I don’t think they are professional at all. More
On my trip to Charleston my vehicle broke down and I was in need of a new car. I was interested in the Honda Fit due to its excellent ratings. We have family and friends in Charleston and recommend that they work with our sales consultant and the Stokes Honda North Dealership when they are in need of a new vehicle. I brought my Honda in for an oil change and to check the TPMS( the light has been on for a few weeks). The oil change went well, nitrogen was topped off on the tires that needed it but the TPMS light was s TPMS( the light has been on for a few weeks). The oil change went well, nitrogen was topped off on the tires that needed it but the TPMS light was still on when I got in my car. I parked and went back to Frankie to let her know that the light was still on and she said I need to drive at least 20mph for the light to go off. She said I could bring it back if the light did'nt go off. The light did not go off even after driving 20-50mph. By this time I was ready to go and did'nt want to wait AGAIN for a problem that I asked to be fixed when I got there to begin with. I'll have to come on my next day off to get that. More
My puchasing experience with Shawn was excellent. He displayed a calm and professional demeanor the entire time. He did state he was a rather new employee. The Salesman (Scott Stirling) couldn't have been kinder or more patient and thorough in his dealings with me. I'm sure I asked an excessive amount of repeated and detailed questions over the course of over or more patient and thorough in his dealings with me. I'm sure I asked an excessive amount of repeated and detailed questions over the course of over twenty phone calls and numerous visits. Mr. Stirling took a lot of time to answer the questions and make sure I understood the quality and value of the car. Mr. Stirling even took my phone calls after working hours and on his day off. Regardless of when I called, he was always attentive and kind. It should be pointed out that I was leaning heavily towards purchasing an Audi; but Scott explained the reputation, reliability and quality that follows all Hondas. Mr. Stirling went on to explain the integrity of Stokes Honda and his gratitude at all they'd done for him throughout his career. He repeatedly assured me that they would stand behind the vehicle and that I'd never regret the decision to go with his dealership. My feeling, now that I'm the owner of a Honda Cross-tour, is that I've received an excellent vehicle of excellent quality. I look forward to many years with my purchase.
