I owned my 1997 Honda CRV for over 14 years and have had nothing but excellent service from it. I had tested other makes and models in the last several months. I visited Stokes several weeks prior to making my purchase. Prince was such a pleasure and very accomodating allowing me to test a couple of civics, used and new. And, also an Insight. I just could not decide then and there was no undue pressure from Stokes dealership. Prince did get in touch a couple of times to check in on my progress. When I was finally ready to make the decision, it was clear to me that I wanted to be back in a CRV. I was firm on what I wanted and what I was willing to finance. Prince, and the dealership did their best meet my requirements. They had to locate the color and the options I wanted and it arrived sooner than they promised. I came down from Columbia, SC, which is my home, days later. Prince had the car detailed and ready and was very helpful teaching me about the new car. I would have no problem recommending Stokes Honda to my friends for a new Honda. Unfortunately, I drive my cars for a long time and my next mode of transportation may me a hover craft. Perhaps Honda will be offering them in 15 years or more! In conclusion, I gave Stokes Honda all fives due their service and my satisfaction. More
I bought a new CRV at Stokes Honda North. The buying process was very enjoyable. Tommy and Lyndon were very friendly and helpful. I also liked Dan's straightforward attitude in making the deal. First, I asked when I made my appointment, but was not told that I was due for a major service - I came expecting to pay for an oil change and ended up paying over $800.00 for 90,000 mile service and a ti told that I was due for a major service - I came expecting to pay for an oil change and ended up paying over $800.00 for 90,000 mile service and a tire (as usual, I was told that my tire had a nail in the side wall and was not repairable) so I had to buy a new tire as I was preparing for a trip to Richmond, VA on Monday. I would have been prepared to leave my car rather than use a "rental" car for over 3 hours and have to top off the gas before bringing it back! I found the whole "rental car" issue an inconvenience! paper work, gas - insurance verification - Why have you gone to this instead of loner cars? The last time I had my tires checked I had to buy a new tire as well. I had to bring my car back to the dealership on Saturday afternoon, because after the service, my air conditioner was not putting out cold air even on Lo cool. When I brought it back - Raymond checked it as said that it was probably low on freon. He added freon without charge, but denied that the service had anything to do with the fact that the air-conditioner was not cooling as it should. It was working fine before the service!!! I have had to bring my car back to Stokes almost everytime I have brought it in for some reson. I have owned a Honda for over 20 years and have dealt with Honda service for as long. It seems that service is not what it used to be! More
I visited to have recall work done on my CR-V. First I was called to schedule the work. That was a first, because no other manufacturer of any vehicle I've owned has ever done that. They've sent recall notices but left of up to me to call and schedule the work. Then I was told to expect it to take two hours but I was out in about an your and bad even asked for the SRS light on to be checked, which turns out to be a part to be ordered and another visit, bit at no charge. Exceeding my expectations this time. More

I am, of course, very delighted to have had the pleasure of speaking with Cleve Mize during my recent phone call on May 20, 2012. His professional and courteous attitude, expert knowledge, and patience in handling my situation, with my car broken down on the side of the road, was very important to my complete customer satisfaction. My husband and I were on our way to Hilton Head for a much needed vacation. Within one hour leaving town, my Honda Civic Hybrid, had engine problems forcing me to park on the side of the road. I contacted Mr. Mize for help since I recently had my car serviced at the Honda Dealership prior to our vacation. Mr. Mize ensured that we would receive the best care to continue on our vacation while our car was being serviced. This was one less concern for me and I am deeply appreciative of his assistance and support. While I know that Stokes is renowned for the customer service it provides, I feel like Mr. Mize treated my affairs with the utmost importance. Mr. Mize handled my issues as if they were his own, and I am completely satisfied. I will continue my maintenance service with Stokes Honda and look forward to patronizing your organization. Sales Scott Stirling was knowledgeable and very professional throughout the entire sales process. After the sale and completion of paperwork he took time to go over the options and equipment on ou professional throughout the entire sales process. After the sale and completion of paperwork he took time to go over the options and equipment on our CRV and helped us set up our phones for hands free use. I would definately refer Scott to a friend looking for a Honda. Finance/paperwork Rodney Sager was wonderful to work with. He knew the answer to all of my questions and did his job quickly and well. It was my fault but we had to do the entire paperwork over because my wife wasn't there when I agreed to buy the car. I didn't tell Scott or Rodney that we wanted it in both names so when we came to get the car we had to redo the paperwork. Rodney was so nice, he just said it's my job don't worry about it. More
