As a new customer living 30 miles from the dealership I was frustrated that it took 2 months to correct 3 issues I had with my Blue Certified Preowned Vehicle purchased from Stivers after a "139 Point Insp was frustrated that it took 2 months to correct 3 issues I had with my Blue Certified Preowned Vehicle purchased from Stivers after a "139 Point Inspection" prior to purchase. Brandon Munday was always very polite but ineffective in listening to what I told him. Six weeks into the ordeal he asked me where I bought the vehicle! I made at least 4 trips to the dealership, spent $160 in rental car fees that the warranty claimed were also covered. Jonathan, the service manager told me he would personally take care of my case but always turned me over to someone else. The appointments I made to bring in my truck were ignored and I was given empty promises over and over. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone purchasing a vehicle. I made a request to have the General Manger contact me and was ignored. More
My sales experience with Stivers Ford was less than stellar. I live 30 miles from the dealership (and pass 2 Ford Dealerships to get there). I found a listing on line for a preowned truck and made an appointment with Xavier, who passed me to Justin for the test drive, who then passed me to Krysta who finalized the deal. She didn't enter all the warranty information in the system which cause all kinds of issues when I returned 3 days later with problems and was handled poorly by the Service Department. while waiting to have the truck looked at by service, I stopped by Krista's desk to share my disappointment. She said "I'm sorry," then turned her back on me and did nothing more to find out details or get the right people to assist me with my new purchase. On my 3rd visit to service the same issues I ran into Krista again on the lot, who simply said "please don't hate me." She still didn't inquire as to what problems I was facing or offer to help. The we get to Asher, who handled the financing. As expected, he applied pressure to buy extended warranties. When I told him to back off, he offered to "give" me the "free" maintenance of 10 oil changes for $90 each plus interest. He kept my payment the same INCREASED the cost of the vehicle over the advertised sales price and reduced my interest rate which he could have given me in the first place with my very good (800+) credit rating. Too much shady business going on at Stivers. Avoid buying a car there. I asked for the General Manager to contact me regarding the sales and service of my truck and he ignored me! More

We confirmed price and that we were driving 6 hours total to purchase the vehicle before we left. When we got there we were told by a different sales manager, Avery that they would not honor the agreed upon price and increased it by $2500! We were completely blindsided and so floored by the experience we will tell everyone we know and steer them away from this place. We did buy the vehicle from a different dealer. More

Sully was absolutely amazing! I was in a difficult situation and I trusted him since the initial point of contact to do whatever he could to secure me a deal, and he did. I’m not sure how he pulled off such favorable terms for me given my financial hurdles and credit standing but I could not be more thankful Sully, Stivers Birmingham, and GM Motors financing! BUYER BEWARE! !! Stivers Ford acted unethically and unprofessionally with us as we attempted to buy a car from them. They had a new Bronco at the dealership that we !! Stivers Ford acted unethically and unprofessionally with us as we attempted to buy a car from them. They had a new Bronco at the dealership that we were in the process of purchasing and they sold it to someone else during the purchasing process. We tried to put a deposit down on the car as we were completing the purchase paperwork and were told “No need for a deposit…..the car is yours….I have the keys in my pocket”. As we completed the pa, we were told the car was no longer available. All we were told was that someone else bought it. Interesting that we were told “it was ours” and “he had the keys to it in his pocket and no one else would buy it” only to be told 10 minutes later that it was sold to someone else. The 2 guilty parties at this dealership are Sparky Sparks and Forrest Sockwell. Both of these guys failed to act in an ethical and professional manner. Sparky told us “I’ll sell you this car right now for MSRP. We agreed. We were later told from another dealer that some dealers are holding certain cars for deals above MSRP. No idea if someone outbid us here or not but regardless, it is extremely unprofessional and unethical to tell someone the car is sold to them and then sell it to someone else. We were even cash buyers. Moreover, Sparky told us he would find us another car and never returned our call. I have NEVER seen such behavior from a car dealer in 58 years. I STRONGLY advise anyone seeking to do business with Stivers Ford to BEWARE! There is a reason this dealer has poor reviews. More
